  1. I think you are right for the most part. The only part of this statement I disagree with is that he has an ability to bang and battle. Jake is a little soft, which is why he needs improvement on his defensive game.
  2. He is the son of Scott. I never had the chance to see Scott play, but Matt is also an extremely good point guard.
  3. All I was thinking is that Holy Cross had a fine season last year running the offence around one guy. It is very possible that Coach Goetz might have a similar game plan coming into this season.
  4. Even if Holy Cross is going to be a more balanced team this year, you still have to wonder if Coach Goetz will do the same thing as last year and have the whole offence revolve around Shina.
  5. Jake Thelen from Cov Cath is a nice player and I would not be surprised at all to see him in the varsity games.
  6. I totally agree, he did nothing but good things when he got in the games last year.
  7. With a point guard as good as Shina Giwa you can count on him driving to the lane creating shots for his teammates. CCH will also struggle with getting shots off this year because they really don't have anyone besides Shover.
  8. What do you mean out of hand? I think Holy Cross and Cov Cath match up well, and that should be a really fun game to watch.
  9. I agree with everyone except for Blake Trimpe. He is a good player, but does not have much experience and relies on the three too much. I think this year he will be more average than good.
  10. I would like to see Shina Giwa from Holy Cross on this list.
  11. Giwa has been working on his shot a lot and he will surprise most teams with his outside game
  12. All of the Holmes players for the most part also play on the same AAU team.
  13. Even if Newport has a lot of returning players the loss of Housely will really hurt them
  14. The Ice are a pretty good team but they live and die by the three if they dont shoot atleast 40% from three they normally lose
  15. Shannon is the head JV coach at Holy Cross and is assissting varsity
