They are a very good team, and won the state this year.

However, I heard they may be short some of their key players (Deluca, Wilder, Martin).

If they were full strength, they would be hard to beat.

Good luck to all the teams.

Yes they are a very good team even without "their key players" . By the way Martin is playing, but they miss those players very much. . You left out Kiesling and Barnett. Everyone on this team is a key player. Because they play as a team "It Takes Five". Lets get you up to date. Out of seven players they have six, because of an injury to Barnetts wrist. They won their pool, played first round and lost by six in the first championship round. They will play tomorrow at 1:00 and 7:00. If they win the team of six will place seventh.

This team wins because of Ryan Fucci. Without Ryan Fucci they are a very average team.

...says the Shining Stars' homer.

The Lakers are pretty average without Kobe.

The Cavs wouldn't be a playoff team without LeBron.

What's your point?

The Ice are a pretty good team but they live and die by the three if they dont shoot atleast 40% from three they normally lose

The Ice actually only averaged about 2 or 3 threes a game this week. Here is a recap.

The Lexington ICE were very impressive at the 15U AAU Nationals this week. They won their pool and finished in the top 20. Their 2 losses were to: Conn. Bball Club (finished 3rd) by 7 and were down by 1 with 2 minutes; and to Upstate Elite (NY) by 3 points. Upstate beat the National Champion Memphis Stallions in pool play.

All that was with 6 players for 5 of the 6 games. They had one injury in game one (Barnette) and had 2 starters in FL with Henry Clay (Kiesling and Wilder). Deluca decided not to play b/c of a golf tourney. Shotwell, Purvis, Helton, Fucci, Haggin and Martin were flat out fun to watch. Watch out for them next season as they will be travelling quite a bit more and will surely add more talent.

Nice point, Smoothron. This quote doesn't seem to hold a lot of water. Fucci is a very good basketball player and his bball IQ is higher than any Sophomore in KY. However, the ICE are a team and Fucci is part of that team and played almost as well as any team in Cincy this week. They represented KY very well as did the A1 Allstars that finished 4th in the Classic Bracket.
