Was told lite practice today and some fun on Friday.

Bellevue cancelled on NCC hour before game. Two years in a row.

Come on. Why cry about kids not playing basketball to play football year round then say its ok for kids to stop playing football to play baseball yr round!

Come on man you can't play both sides of the fence. You can't cry about it when guys dont play basketball to play football and they say it's ok to not play football to play only baseball. This isn't burger king you can't get your way all the time. The whole truth of the matter is they are just aren't that talented. There just isn't the Jimmy and Joes like there used to.

I have never been down a road with you. i just hope the kids who have quite football tp play baseball think about what they are doing to the program. Young Whitford and Hennigen made great additions to football but now want to concentrate on just baseball.

He always gets the score right but just not sure how they got in. Hit, ERA or what. I am sure they scored 3 unearned runs. hahahahahaha

Great news for the kids. I would say no to the lights anytime soon. The material was bought and is on sight light poles are up and waiting along with all the panels. The powers that be in the school. district don't want to offend the tax paying neighbors who bought a house behind a school who has said if they put lights up if they ever need a levy passed they would vote no. If you don't like it move. The school was here before you bought your house crybabies. on a brighter note the school has had a study done on the best way to position the field for people to watch the games and for proper draining. Once it is done the field will be updated and improved. Looking to something like they did at Bartlet benches in the hillside and some other neat things. But all this will take time at least we they are headed in the right direction. Have been fighting the fight for 7 years now and daughter is Sr this year. So all the work will pay off for the future girls and that is just fine with us.

just hope that school lets him see it through. I know its HHS and there is no pressure to win baseball but for JB he has got to win or he will go crazy soon. no sense in a good coach holding him self back at a school were football is king. Again i agree with you all JB is a good coach. he does a lot for his team. i was asking the question! As i remember HHS beat WV last year.

she played good. She was at 1st base for the first time in her life. There first basemen got hurt last week so she played first last night. didn't hit the ball well but its still early. Should be a fun season.

Sounds like the HHS team. They have 1 senior and no JRs. They are starting 3 8th graders 3 fresh and 2 soph. Crazy young. Good luck lady bears hang in there and have fun.

They looked young and played that way. Thats why you play scrimmage games to work things out. The pitching has been OK. The Young transfer from Woodford Co has really done well. She pitched great tonight.

wrong again!! these young girls play a lot of softball all summer and fall! the program has a great future.

Game was at Beechwood today. Last week against Cooper she hit one to dead center field over fence. 210 in the corners and like 220 center field. Big news out of Ft Thomas was that there Field is now only a softball field no more sharing with football at all. There will be a permanent fence put up once they determine the lay out of the field.

Great start to long season for the lady birds. Graybill with two out of the yard home runs and she is just one of the 3 8th graders in the starting line-up

she played pretty well 3-4 had some plays at short then played a little 2nd all in all a pretty good day thanks for asking

Untill someone beats Ryle they ave to be 1 also not having Highlands any higher then 9th is just nuts. They will be very good this year. Young and strong middle fielding wil be strong and nice on the corners.

The bold type is a huge concern. When Brooke was a 6th grader she said she wanted to try out for HHS softball was very affraid what she would hear on the bench since at that time they did not have a freshman team just JV and VR. She made the team and i had several talks with her about the thigs she heard on the bench and also the coachs kept her close to them when she wasnt playing. The talk is different from middle school to Sr in high school

The states say they can, just not in a contact sport. Also with the kids haveing to choose there school in the 8th grade that helps the kids and coaches.

Who cares what the community thanks or wants they have had nothing the last several years. He would be a great improvement, what the community and parents may not like is the commitment that a new coach will be expecting from there kids!!

Great choice! My brother in law from Anderson played there. Great school, great campus and good coaches.
