Any updates on games from yesterday? Holy Cross at St. Henry and Bellevue at Newport Central Catholic. Just curious. Didn't see any scores posted yet on the KHSAA web site.

Hey Porky, just noticed on KHSAA that Holy Cross and St. Henry game has a reschedule date of 04-04 by it. Don't know anything about New Cath yet.

Bellevue cancelled on NCC hour before game. Two years in a row.

Wow, what's up with that? :ohbrother: It is a shame that they waited so long to contact NCC and wasted such a great day to play. If I were the NCC coach I would count it as a forfiet, depending on the circumstances of course. Just sayin, but two years in a row. Come on! That's ridiculous.

Bellevue's coach Rick Blevins called the school instead of contacting Coach Barnes, whose cell number he has. Used the excuse that Bellevue had an Awards Banquet.......When Coach Barnes contacted the Bellevue principal to tell him this is the second year in a row that Bellevue has forfieted a game on such short notice he was told they moved the start time of the Awards Banquet to accomadate the game, thus catching Coach Blevins in a LIE. Also heard that when the Coaches had their scheduling meeting in September Rick Blevins wasn't even there. Bottomline..... the Bellevue softball program is a JOKE and Newcath will NOT schedule them anymore. Totally sad on a perfect day not to play a game, both teams lost out in this one thanks to Coach Rick Blevins. :irked: :madman:

Don't you have to play them? Aren't you in the same district?

Usually that District doesn't seed. They don't in basketball.

They do not seed at all. Blind draw that's whats wrong with the distric. Baseball basketball and softball none of them. So some years you get the big two knocking off each other in the first round and a team like Bellevue or Dayton make the regionals

That's too bad. All districts should seed IMO.
