And another King of the Bluegrass team wins a State Champinship and KOB All-Tournament players Miller and Holman were awesome…as were all Red Devils. BALLARD has only lost two games…none in Kentucky. Ballard lost to Washington DC St. Johns in overtime, in the first round of the King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic. On Tuesday, Marcch 10, 2015, St. Johns rallied past highly ranked Gonzaga to win the DCSAA District of Columbia State Athletic Association Title. The man guarding the screener must put one hand on the screeners back and step out (expose) so the dribbler can 1) Charge 2) pick up his dribble 3) banana out…as the dribbler approaches the expose defender must step back and let his teammate slide through. You have now eliminated the mismatch.

We had a situation with a fan in the King of the Bluegrass this year. The police got the tournament director and told him to get the person out of the gym or he was going to arrest them. The fan left on thier own…by far the best way to handle the situation. You choose the behavior you choose the consequences…both good and bad.

I can tell 90% of you have never been responsible for running a basketball tournament. In high school, one gym, one enterance. The hardest job in the King of the Bluegrass is working the gate. Some people don't think the rules apply to them. They try to sneek in, they lie about who thay are and they throw names around that might get them in and worst of all they cuss the workers. Life is very simple…follow the rule! When you choose the behavior you choose the consequences…both good and bad.

Covington Catholic could not play on Saturday. The match-ups were made on the ONLY day those teams could play. Saturday teams had games on Friday.
