Fairdale 73 Bullitt East 65

Featured Replies

A great win for Fairdale at Bullitt East. Coach David Hicks, his staff and team are giving 100%. Not a lot of natural talent…but when they execute they are pretty damn good.

Dawgs outscored East 21-10 in third quarter and answered all of East Runs. Fairdale got balanced scoring from eight players tonight led by Jr's DJ Jones 15 pts and Dakota Collie with 13. Tyler Sharpe led East with 19 and Brandon Klefot added 17. Not much else from East who didn't shoot well form the field 22/64.

What is going on at East?

This is my 4th straight year of following Bullitt East, I have been to all but 5 games this year, and I am really starting to scratch my head. Now I said previously that they must start playing more inside - out, and they did a bit more of that last night. The problem is, they are missing way too many easy shots, many of them point blank. East also kills they're own runs, whether through lazy passing, very questionable substitutions, or as against Fairdale a very untimely technical against a player for talking smack. East also plays to their competition....They beat teams like Holmes, Wayne Co., Manual, South Shore Brooklyn, and takes Doss to the wire, but then loses to mediocre teams like a Fairdale. I also believe there is a lack of leadership on this team, they take too many possessions off! At this point it could go either way for them...They could make an early exit, or they can be playing in the regional finals.

East will be fortunate to finish at .500 this year. BigDuke leadership starts at the top with a coach that can lead his players. This staff argues more among themselves than the team does. At this point in the season if you do not know your staff and players strengths and weaknesses it's to late to regroup.

mtn bball, I get what your saying...But if East goes .500, then an immediate firing must take place!!!
