I believe Ryle lost most of their players last year. I'm not saying that varsity experience matters but it doesn't help when your team has to replace almost every starter from the previous season. For example, look at Beechwood last year. They contended for the region and came All A runner-ups after losing their best graduating class, thus showing that all teams would have to show it on the diamond. But Ryle should not be ranked in front during PRE-season due to no one knowing how well they will handle varsity players and not JV. This is true, but I have also seen multiple Beechwood games, and from the past experiences I noticed Beechwood played awful that game. Also, Beechwood was only about 5 maybe six men deep at the time. Another factor i would like to lay in was the 21 kid from Beechwood was on the bench majority of the game but when he was in (1st and 3rd quarter) Beechwood made some good runs.

When money gets involved you would be surprised what can happen.

Your wrong in the fact that Beechwood did not beat anyone down in Lexington or Louisville. I believe they beat Apollo and Lexington Christian who are both in the top 6 of the state this year. Once again to be ranked down state you have to beat teams in Lexington and Louisville area and Ryle did not thats why they are not in the top 25.

He will pitch behind Cody Elliot, Steve Hadden, Zac Larimore, Nate Snyder, and A.J. Smith.

I also heard Parker Adams has been working hard in the off season. Lets see if he can make some noise this year on the golf course.

Newport will be very good, led by Sr Housley and I'm not sure their sr center's name. Their 2010 class is loaded also, but McDaniels, in the games I saw, took a lot of plays off. Luther is an excellent leaper and rebounder and I believe their SG last year name was Green is a good ball player as well. Wouldn't be surprised to see them in the regionals.

You cant forget cooperstown he is a beloved Ryle fan for many years.

Hopson does take plays off, and that could hurt him down the road. That being said, when that light clicks I think the sky is the limit.

I am pretty sure Ryle is not ranked in the state pole because, who did they beat in the state, the only teams they beat were in the ninth region. They beat the ninth region too because of the talent was not very good last year. To get in the state poles you have to beat teams in the Lexington and Louisville area. Everyone needs to get off the Ryle bandwagon or your in for a major disappointment this upcoming season when they finish 3rd or 4th behind Cov Cath and Beechwood.:thumb:

How about Northern Kentucky, Highlands won state, Beechwood won state, and NCC came runner-up for state.

Pinnick went to Morehead. As for Romes, he had offers from Morehead also but chose Mt. St. Joe.

I'd take Michael Romes over Pelle, but Pelle was an extremely good ball player. Dan Pinnick(?) was also a D-3 player.
