  1. I heard that Keith Walthers of Beechwood is an up and coming golfer. But that's just the rumor around town.
  2. I think Elliott might lead the team. He is a four year starter and a D-1 player.
  3. How come no one is talking about Nate Snyder he had a good season last year and could be an impact this spring in how far Beechwood goes.
  4. Bengals D-Lineman Peko's younger brother goes to Highlands I think. I've heard he could go to a major D1 college.
  5. I think teams can focus on him now. This will be the first time in a while CCH will be more of a one or two scorers team. I would agree hes a candidate, but I'll take Rico.
  6. Peko from Highlands is young, but heard he has potential.
  7. Who has the best pitching rotation in the 9th region?
  8. He could average around 30 by his sr year. I wouldn't be surprised to see him break the Dayton alltime scoring record.
  9. Beechwood returns everyone except for the RF Eric Shumuk who was key for the tigers. They have proably the best defensive cather in the 9th region in Chris Miller. Hard hitting 1st baseman Chris Morris who signed with Bresia(?), 2nd baseman Richie Williams, SS or 3rd baseman Adam Gohs who is easily the most under-rated hitter in the 9th region, Brady Slusher will probably play 3rd but no one knows because he plays everywhere, RF Trent Pickett, CF Cody Elliot who will play D-1 at Ball St., and Joseph Collisimo(can't spell that) in LF. They are stacked, but I look for Highlands and Dixie to make noise outside of Beechwood, CCH, and Ryle. Boone County is very over-rated.
  10. I agree. Also Beechwood is raked 25 in the state but 4th in the 9th region. I don't see Ryle and Boone ranked.
  11. He can play, but is anyone looking at him, that would be his only problem.
  12. We will see how Ryle plays against some good teams this year and maybe if they beat one of the three. They might recieve some more credit down state next year.
  13. Yes, but overall it was a rebuilding year. They lost 11 seniors from the state runner up team sort of like Ryle you can not reload in one year. In the next few years not including this year will be Ryle's good years.
  14. Can I get a copy of Ryles schedule. I would like to see the quality teams they play.
  15. Get over Ryle's team last year it was last year. If we were talking about last year we all would have talked about Ryle, but were not. So Ryle will have a good rebuilding year like Beechwood had last year.:argue:
  16. Beechwood should be ranked in front of Ryle because when Beechwood lost their graduating class hardly anyone thought the were gonna contend for region. Thus putting them towards the middle of the rankings. Ryle has a great tradition baseball program but you really cannot judge JV players and varsity players until they show it out on the field. And in my opinion Beechwood should be in front of Ryle because they lost one senior, and that means 8+ starters returning. Usually teams get better through time, but in some cases it works against them because they overlook all the little things.
  17. 20 turnovers in a half and still only down 12 is impressive.
