Once again I have not seen most sixteenth region teams this year, but according to khsaa website, Ashland was 2-10 in the last 12 games, that is not very good, while at the same time Bath is solid. Does winning that small amount of games make you considered as playing better ball? Not bashing Ashland-just looking at the record. Tell me why you think they have a chance. Matchups? Players back from being injured?

Corbin's field is one of the nicest I have seen. From what I hear Johnson Central and Letcher Central will be having nice ones.

OK. So obviously some homer picking or someone really going out on a limb then huh? I thought everyone in that area was highly picking Elliott County and hadnt heard much about Greenup, but thought they must be good for some to be picking them to knock Elliott off.

This tournament is Hazard's to lose.

Breeden would be an exceptional pickup for any school. The guy can flat out coach. Well at least used to be able to.

Maybe I am missing something. I am not very knowledgable about the 16th Region, but some of the picks here have Greenup beating Elliott County, then there are some that have Elliott winning by 30 pts or so? Very confusing.

Does any of these 16th teams have a big man that can play with Euton? I have seen Euton in a tournament this year, but havent seen any of the other sixteenth region teams this year.

Station is going to do some damage in the Region and in my opinion will do some damage in the State Tournament.

I can remember a couple of years ago when Dickie came to Richmond and did some All A Classic games. I thought he did a great job as a play by play announcer.

This wasnt the score that I expected to see. I really thought Rose Hill would win in a blowout. I guess Tournament time changes a lot of things.

Metz and Clemons are the real deal for Bath County.

I dont believe that the Bath-Ashland game will even be close. I believe Bath sails to the Finals to compete against Elliott County if they can get by Rose Hill.

Not sure they have the personel to cover Baseball like they do the other sports.

A small list for Boyd for Pitchers. Normally they have 4 or 5 quality pitchers each year. If this is all they have, it will be a long year for the Lions.

Do any of the 16th Region teams have any Basketball players that will make their Baseball Roster? I know East will have some, as well as Rowan County. I heard Boyd did not keep any of their Basketball players, what about Greenup, do they have some quality baseball players that are still playing Basketball? I know Raceland has Martin and Boyles that will be playing Baseball when they get done with Basketball, not sure of the rest of their Basketball roster.
