The fouls called against Rowan were all good calls as Rowan is a team that fouls like crazy and just hopes to get by with it night after night. Good game by the Refs. Rowan got outcoached in this game as Tacket should have gone to some kind of packed in zone since Breathitt co wasn't even looking to shoot outside and probabbly can't. They only took 2 or 3 outside shots and staying in there half court man to man played right into Breathitts hands .

Should be a great Regional Final. I think Ashland will play there best game of the year and win by 4 .

I also agree that it was a very bad no call and that it might have changed the outcome of the game . I believe this was the only bad call made pretty much all night in both games though . The Officials did a great job all night long till that point. Congrats to Raceland on there win. As far as playing in Weatherby , I thought it was a terrible atmosphere for what ever reason and also it was very dark in there I felt like. I would not want to play games in that arena . Going back to Johnson will be a lift I believe to all teams left.

The court looked a little slick but it didn't really affect the outcome of either game. The Ashland- West game was ugly but in all my years of watching Regional Tournaments you can always count a few ugly games in boys and girls play. West played pretty well just couldn't get there shots to fall . Both teams shot the same percentage from 2 point range ,which was a very cold 33.3 percent. Ashland was only 3 of 15 from the 3 point line but West was an even worse 0 of 11. Both teams shot terrible from the freethrow line as well. All in all an ugly game but still a good win for the Kittens.

Both Girls and Boys should play in Johnson Arena. I've seen many boys games within our region this season where you could count the fans in attendance. Just keep things equal and everything is fine.

Sorry ,but your still off target . Bottom line , they played twice east won 1 by 11 and Asdhland won the other by 21 Do the math , and i think you'll see Ashland is still 10 points to the good. If they played 10 times ,i believe Ashland would win 7 or 8 of them . Ashland has the best player in the region and 2 of the best 3 point shooters in the region as well. You make interesting points but ashland still has an advantage in talent .

I think Morehead is a perfect place for the tourney and I'm sure they will have the floor ready by Monday evening. I'm against playing the regional at any ones home court if we don't have to . As far as the girls playing all there regionals in Weatherby then the boys should to. Seems like our region is one of very few where people always think the boys should get the best of everything. It will never be the way it was so all you boys fans just except it that what you get and where you play at is the same as the girls will get.

well ,Ashland did beat them by 21 and that was with Sergent playing and Wilcox did not play that game for Ashland. Elliott beat East and Ashland took Elliott apart by almost 30 so I'm not sure how you back your statements . East had a good team but just not as good or talented as Ashlands. Also east lost to paduca Tilman a team Ashland also beat so comparisons go in Ashlands favor I think. East did beat Ashland but buy only 11 and Ashland played there worst game of the year that night and stil had a chance to win .

Rowans lost to Clark Co. and Ashlands lost to East Carter are the loses I'm talking about . I never said they lost to bad teams just teams that are weaker than they are. Clark Co. is playing well now but when they beat Rowan they had been just an average team. They did beat Raceland by 50 but that was the game Vanderhoof got hurt very early in that game and we all know that without her Raceland isn't nearly as good . As far as Ashland goes , they are a much better team than East Carter and that was a game they never should have lost. East has a nice team but there not nearly as talented as Ashland. My whole point was that neither Ashland or Rowan is a lock to make it to the Regional Final. I think it will be a great tournament and I do not think Rowan will win by margins of 30 and 36 like someone above has said. Good luck to all the teams

This year is very different than the past few years when theres been a big difference from the top team to teams 2 thru 8. This year no team has a true D1 player like Rose Hill had the last 2 years or even like Russell had in Fortman. I do think Rowan and Ashland may be the best teams but both have proved that they can loose to weaker teams. It should be a great tournament though.

The draw could lead to a Ashland- Rowan Co. Final which should be a great final.

Once again, I'm not taking anything away from him. He's a very good coach, whose team is playing very hard for him.

I'm not knocking Rowan Co. at all . I think they have had a great season and I also think they are the best team in the region. I just was wondering why C oach High would be doing any coaching at all since he had the chance to coach Rowan and turned it down . By the way the practice I'm talking about ,Coach Tacket was there on the sidelines watching . I think Coach Tacket has done a wonderfull job though considering he got the job late. My hats off to the him and the Rowan program. Hoops girl ,may I ask how your so knowing of what goes on in there practices? PS Lets be friends

Lets just say back in January someone walked into a Rowan practice and Coach High was on the court instructing. That seems more to me than stooping by to just say hi.

SK isn't as good as you people are building them up to be. Even if they win this game they wont go far in the region.

Mason Co. wins this one by at least 15. My reason of course is because of Miss Chambers. She's a big time player. If she reads this I say good luck .
