Old ball coach

Hey ,does anyone know if Renne Dailey is playing Colege Ball or maybe coaching somewhere.

Johnny High is a veteran coach who had the Rowan job back in sept. but turned it down because of money issues . He's a veteran coach who has been coaching girls basketball for over 25 years and has taken many teams to the state tournaments. He coached at Montgomery co. the last few years and got there program back to where it used to be .

You make a good point Hoops gal. It was still a good win for Rowan as you take them one at a time this time of year. I hear Johhny High has been coaching Rowan in practice . Is this true and if so maybe this is why Rowan has done so well this year.Maybe its not Coach Tackets team after all. Any one with thoughts on this ?

I salute you GO RADIO for doing a great job promoting girls basketball in our region. I can't believe that out of all the businesses in Ashland that WRVC could not get adds sold to carry the kittens games as well as the Tomcats. I personally think it comes down to people in Ashland not wanting change when it comes to Ashland sports. I hate to tell them but this is not the 60's or 70's and the Tomcats are not what they used to be. Kittens fans should flood with phone calls to WRVC and THE Ashland Administrators in getting behind the girls programs in there school system. Its 2008 ,wake up Ashland.

I've never heard of Jordan Simth. Sparks is the best in the region though.

Chambers is one of the top players in the state and will take Mason co. as far as she can . She will also do well at Dayton next season. Very nice girl as well.

Elliott lost in a tight game through out. Congrats Morgan Co. on making it to the region. Elliott Co. depends on the 3 point shot way to much and will never be a real contender in this region till they develop a inside game that takes pressure off there 3 point shooters. They also need some bench strength.

Congrats Lady Rams, but Russell will be a much tougher task. How did Vanderhoof do tonight? Is she 100 percent now?

Very good basketball player but even a better person. Shes a great kid with a great attitude . Good luck during the tournament ,and have a great senior season.

Rowan wins this one going away. Nice win for Bath Co. last night but Rowan is a different team compared to Meniffe Co. Rowan by 25

Anyone have thoughts on Ashland vs. Boyd Co.? I think Ashland has played very well in the last month and seemed very much ready to prove something in last nights game against Fairview.

Can someone in the 16th. region or 64th.district answer this question for me. Why does WRVC the voice of the Ashland Tomcats not carry all of the Ashland Kittens basketball games? This seems very wrong and someone in the Ashland school system needs to be all over this problem.

I totally agree that anything can happen in tournament play . I keep reading that this region should come down to Rowan and Ashland. Can someone tell me why they did not play in regular season this year and how do they match up with each other?

Did Rowan Co. not have Fleming Co. scouted as well ? I think teams have started figuring out how to play Rowan and that's why within the last 3 weeks there games have been much closer Fleming Co., Morgan Co. , Clark co. , and so on . Rowan is a very good team but I think they will have to play alot better to win the region.
