For the love of the game...Rachael Vanderhoof

Great article!!!! There is NO player in this region (or in the state) that deserves a major newspaper write-up more than Rachel Vanderhoof. No question one of the most mentally tough players this region has ever seen (boys or girls). Hopefully she will put the "injury bug" behind her and have a successful post season and senior year.

Great Article! Special person, right there!

A great young lady, from a great family.

Nice story..Good luck to her.

ACL tears are not easy to come back from.

Nice story. Well earned. Super player !!

Very nice article....thanks for sharing.

Very good basketball player but even a better person. Shes a great kid with a great attitude . Good luck during the tournament ,and have a great senior season.

I can't believe that I overlooked this one. Rachael Vanderhoof is a fine Christian young lady from one of the finest Christian families that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. They just don't come any better anywhere than the Vanderhoof's. Rachael, like all of her family will be a sucsess in the game of life as well no matter which path that she chooses bc of her faith and strong values.

Kudos again to a great young lady and the best of luck in whatever you do. :thumb:

Nice article. I got to see this gal play a couple of years ago in the Boyle Co. tournament, and I was very impressed with her then as a freshman. Nice to see she has kept fighting and is persevering. She needs to be put on the phone with David Padgett; sounds like they would have fun sharing horror stories about knee injuries, and maybe could help encourage each other a bit as well.
