At the draw, MSU stated that they were going to "tack" the floor on Sunday to keep it from being slick. Then the teams voted to practice on the floor on Sunday. So I don't know if MSU will have the time to correct the floor or not.

Should the floor be that dangerous them imo the girls first round should be moved elsewhere, is a no brainer I would think. I certainly don't think that it is worth holding any games on a floor that could very well be the cause of injuries.

I know of one school for certain that has dealt and is stiil fighting inuries and I am sure at this point in the season that there are more teams with kids playing less than 100%.

I am sure that MSU will not put any of the teams in danger. MSU is a class act. The old gym might just end up being a better fit for the girls tournament. Have the girls ever filled up the big gym?

I hope that you are both right and I wouldn't think that MSU would put kids at risk, what I was saying was if there was even a doubt about the floors condition then move the 1st round.

The other option play the first round at East Carter. You could also play at the district winner like we did a few years ago.
