Brady Highchew, from Newport Catholic, is a great athlete. He has excelled in football, basketball, and is having a great freshman campaign this baseball season. He has a great bat, good speed and could very well push for varsity time nest season. :ylsuper:

I'm just as impressed with Mr. Rawe, not Rowe, this is his 3rd. straight impressive pitching preformance. A very solid #2 pitcher and we all know you need pitching at the end of the year. Great job Nate.

Agreed. That was just an awesome game played between two rival squads. The grand-slam, in the sixth, hit by Petey Albrecht was just huge for the Fighting Camels. The Thoroughbreds pulled it out in the end when it counted. Good Job, Thoroughbreds!

They had some Bad News Bear plays, but they also didn't look to into the game as well.

Shaun Meyer pitched for the Thoroughbreds. He did a fantastic job of locating his breaking ball all night. Oliver Head pitched for Highlands. Newport Central Catholic really picked him apart.

The Boone Co. / Newport Central Catholic game is at Covington Catholic's field.

No he didn't strikeout everyone in the lineup and yes I was there. He did throw very well, but not 90's.

There is no way he should be going to UK. The Ferguson kid from EC should be on UK radar, the kid can light it up.

The Cross will take this, its early so the ball will get kicked around some. Go Cross!!!!

These are the returning starters from last year from what I hear: Rawe- SS Kelly- supposedly switching to center field this year Connor- Pitcher and 2B Geisler- could be playing 1B this year other seniors are: Steve Young Tyler Bader Ben Parr Jake Lohr

And his tude gave him problems as well.

Thats why we play the game. And its easy to sit in the stands and 2nd guess the coaching moves.
