There is only one left. These jobs were posted day before yesterday as 30 day posts and one person was told yesterday she has one of these jobs. So I'm not sure how that works ? Grover seems to have knowledge in that area , maybe he can tell us ??

I don't think we will see Billy G leave anytime soon. He will reconfirm he is a winner before even considering any other job. He is an awesome recruiter as we have seen this year and knows what kind of players he wants. The Cats are not far from being with the top teams again.

Don't think the boys job posting closes until late this week. But the rumor mill is running full steam and atleast some of this may be correct ?

Looks to me like Mark Watkins would be an obvious choice. He did a lot with the girls a couple of years ago. He knows the girls and would get them up and running pretty quick. A new comer may take more time to get going. He knows the game and should be in the running.

I understood your post , just saying it ain't worth it to me. There are teachers that are on cruise control , but if they are doing what they are supposed to do it takes 10 - 12 hours per day. I don't think we will see a change anytime soon. Programs cost money and everybody has there own agenda for the use of state funds. If we try to cut programs , no matter where , somebody is going to complain. Our state simply over budgets every year. So does our government.Thats why we owe China two hundred million dollars, and five other foreign countries that much more. It's not that difficult to fix , we either cut spending (programs) or find a new source for revenue.

You may be right. I know from experience I would not spend thousands of dollars for a degree and four to six years to get it and then put up with what they have to. I have four in the family that do , and beleive me ,they can have it.

I'm not sure how it would do what you say ? Do you realise that 32 of the last 40 State Champs have come from only 7 Regions ? That leaves 9 Regions that may not agree with you.:thumb:

I don't think most have ever really looked at it. But here is what we have had in the last 40 years:11th-7 state champs---7th-7state champs---6th-6 state champs---3rd-5 state champs. Thats 25 out of 40 champs from 4 Regions. So you could see why they may go to classes.

I think what he is saying is it doesen't happen very often. It is a great show to watch in its current form , but not to many have much of a chance as it is. If you look at the sweet sixteen history you can see it's pretty obvious the odds are not very good. Two schools have won six titles, four schools have won four titles, three schools have three titles, and eight have two titles each.Then there are some with one title. You can also see by the game scores that there are far more blowouts than close games. In the last two years there were four games won by four points or less. I don't care how they play it but you have to know most teams odds are not good.:thumb:

I have read ALL of your posts and didn't get involved in the discussions with you because to have an objective discussion with another person you must first admit there is a possibility that you are wrong. You have shown your inability to do so . Therefore I haven't argued the point with you. God has instructed all of us to follow mans law. It is against mans law to smoke Marijuana. The mainstream of society does not accecpt it. If you could get that law changed then you could legally use it. I won't argue studies one way or the other because they are all mute points. You may be correct in saying that, BUT I do recall a few games in which there were some people sitting on the bench with their arms crossed in an UNmotivating manner. Maybe their hands were tied , so to speak ? I know YOU saw that. And if you think some of the methods used in the boys games will work with this girls team, somebody is in for a rude awakening. If they are not selective in a girls coach there may not be enough left to play. Having experience as a player and helping coach is a major plus, but you better know how to work with kids in general first.:thumb:

Maybe they should have used some motivating this past season with the boys team ?:thumb:

I'll keep this short because the thread is "coach". I believe their main focus is the same as it was. They just added sports. Somebody wants them to have a team because they have had some pretty good ones. Nothing wrong with a little basketball. Judge not.....:thumb:
