Whoever Rose Hill decides to hire as a coach, I wish them the best. Rose Hill hired the right person for the girls position and I am sure he will do fine. I am sure the girls will respond to him and play hard. He doesn't have to scream like a lunatic in their faces...He simply coaches the game. Best of Luck to all of the Sports at Rose Hill.

Who has been seen at open gym ? I'm not sure who is in the running but I heard Ron Reed is. He is a very good person and an excellent coach . He would do well there. He is very stern with the boys, which I think is a good thing. There may be a few parents that would think he is too hard on their kid.

I guess I missed something somewhere ! If oil is sold in US dollars and there is only 35 cents difference in the dollar now , how does that equate to $120 a barrel ? Are we gettin mugged or what ? It don't add up to me !!:creepy:

You are probably correct on the list , but Don't forget , whoever the head coach is , they will need Mrs Sparks and Renzi. These two are NOT replaceable, they are a must for the girls program. I wouldn't even take the job without being assured they will be there !!:thumb:

What dad wouldn't want to coach or help his kids team ? Especially If he knows the game ! It's not like their kid won't get playing time if they are not around. I'm sure Skaggs would be glad to help if needed. Parsleys girls will also see plenty of minutes with or without him being there and I am certain he also would help or coach if needed. Kidwell has made good choices with his assistants and they will do everything they can to help improve the program. I doubt they have an instant fix but I do expect you will see improvement this season. Naturally we will hear from those that had one , seen it , done it, and been there , but I say they may want to climb aboard or pack their bags because for now this is the direction the Red Devils are headed.:fire::thumb:

Well they sure didn't win 8 games this year , so I don't think they have much to lose ! I don't know why you think these guys are not top quality help ? I know them all and I would welcome their help. If they can out run the Na-sayers they will do just fine. :thumb:

I am glad Merle is finally getting a shot as the boys coach ! I can't think of anyone available that would be a better choice. I just hope everything goes well for him and the team. They also need to give him time to "rebuild" the program and develope a few young kids. I would hate to see him be a "two or three and out" coach. Parents need to know up front that Merle calls the shots and support him. Given a fair shot, he will have a solid program. Good luck Merle.:devil:

Fraley coaches his alma mater. His dream job comes true but then again Pitino thought Boston was too. Kidwell vs. Barnes, Kidwell wins out with his support system .This is what Madeleine Albright said would happen several weeks ago. She was right on with Fraley and I'm betting she is again right on Kidwell. Write it down , she is now assureing me this is it !! Just wanted Go Radio to know she hasn't missed yet !!:fire::fire:

As of yesterday evening they had not interviewed all applicants . But it should be real soon. I still think Kidwell is the man.

Russell has some good players returning and they really can't stand to lose any of them. Hopefully they will all return and just maybe they can get two or three other good players to join them this season. There are some good girls in the school that would help the team if they do come out.:thumb:

Just in case you didn't read mine , as president he can put Supreme Court Judges in place to find a different meaning for a law that is already on the books......to include Constitution , without Congressional control ,or public opinion.:thumb:

Most of the time when players leave because of differences between them and a coach, the REAL problem goes with them. I doubt that it would be the choice of the girls alone to transfer. The last two players that left did so of their own accord. One was a D1 player that ended up not playing at all. The cream will come to the top !

That may be a not so good experience for them ! But you really can't blame the school for welcoming them with open arms as long as everything is on the up & up .

If they do in fact end up with all of the players named lately , it would take an all star team to play with them !

I would never do that but you know it could happen. I would welcome the challenge because most teams would be underdogs anyway and you may just catct them on a bad day. Or you could play 4 corner and get beat 30 to 24 or something like that !:banana:

Well ,I do know that there are times that interviews were held but the name of the "chosen one" Was out far in advance of them being held. I believe Grover can confirm this. It doesn't matter to me , but Merle does deserve a shot.

I'm pretty sure they are not required to interview all applicants.

I'm sure you remember the OJ days at the hill. Some in the 16th simply refused to put them on their list of teams to play. Could that happen to Scott Co. ???

Based on what Grover has said if it's "in house" they wouldn't have to conduct interviews , all of the people Maddy has named are in house ?? Maddy also said two weeks ago that Fraley was going to be the new coach at Greenup Co. and was accurate on that one ?? Go figure ??
