Was rooting for Oklahoma's #2 pitcher to fail last night. Looked like she was a batter or 2 from getting pulled and Kirsten Allen being put in the game. It would have been great to get to see her pitch one ininng. On a side note, if Ms Allen returns to the area this summer and if anyone knows her I would love to be put in touch with her and see if she is interested in pitching some live batting practice, paid of course.

And some people don't think we have a problem with coaches in the area. What a joke...I would bet my pay check that Holy Cross is one of the schools that didn't do it. Doesn't really matter for my daughter bc she missed to many games and after she hit .603 with 9 homers last year and did not receive anything we don't expect anything. How hard is it to go for bat for your players, how long does it take to send an email.

I've heard the husband has been cleared. I also heard the time she went in was earlier than normal. Maybe she saw something that someone didn't want seen. I'm just speculating on that though.

He's been battling skin cancer for a while. The treatments have given him some heart issues but the battle with cancer is actually going pretty well.

Rumor has it Holtz will be the principal.

Sounds like Stephens had a nice tourny, congrats to her. I am sure she was deserving, Ryle is the elite program in the area. I am sure their coach has a lot to with it. That being said I would have still voted another way but I am ok with her being the coach of the year.

We need Blue grass preps awards, we would have to do better than the coaches and the enquier. I haven't seen many teams this year but I bet I could still get it closer than most coaches.

Ok I take my post back. I still wouldn't think Oliverio is the best player on her team. Why have an award that everyone is not eligible for.

It is a flat out joke if you ask me. I am sure Patti Oliverio is one of the better coaches and is deserving but seems even though they won the Region they are having some major problems and I am sure its not all the parents fault. How about Beechwood's coach, NDA, Dixie they are all deserving. As far as her daughter I would be surprised if she was the best player on her team.

Rob Ware is not with the Doom anymore, his daughter left to play with a team out of IN. She will be a freshman at Wright State next year.

Most all teams in nky and cincy along with the whole state of OH post tourney's and teams looking for players of the ohio fastpitch connection. It is the best resource going to try to find out info on teams and tourneys. To answer your question I am not sure, I would think that would have been one of the better tourneys in the area for the younger age groups. I believe Sluggerfest is back again this year. It is held around the end of the month at rivershore, its not what it once was but you still will find several nice teams there. It's more towards the 16u age group

Who does she play for?

I am just wondering out loud here...I wonder if the friction between the Ryle coaches and Haylee Smith has anything to do with her not playing on Ryle's summer team any longer? Again I have no idea, but IMO if Haylee wants to play in college her chances and opportunities are greatly improved playing for the DOOM over Ryle's team.

I am not going to make that one. Everyone says it is great out there but I couldn't do both Boulder and Premier Nationals. Nationals is my favorite week of the year and I didn't want to miss it.

This could be fun!!

What is she working on left-handed? Is she just hitting regular left handed or trying to slap, power slap, tap slap and bunt or all the above?
