Congrats to all, the Stephens name is one I haven't heard of before. Any info on her as far as grade, position, etc?

 

Didn't see a pitch of the tourney but Ryle had 4 players voted all region and Smith was not one, did she have an off tourney?

Furthermore, I just saw where Patti Oliverio was the 9th region coach of the year and McKell Oliverio was the 9th region player of the year. WOW! I was a bit surprised with this one.

In order to be selected for regional coach/player, the school coach or assistant coach has to be a member of KSCA and for the 9th region the only schools that are include Ryle, Conner, Covington Latin, Holmes, Lloyd, and NCC. Sort of limits things

Ok I take my post back. I still wouldn't think Oliverio is the best player on her team. Why have an award that everyone is not eligible for.
