I attended the East/Rowan game last night and noticed a severe lack of enthusiasm from the crowd. The only one I can remember being vocal was a Rowan County Fan not happy with the officiating. This is in steep contrast to what East will face tonight at Elliott County where the crowd is always enthusiastic. That game will be worth the price just to see the crowd.

Actually we have an indoor pool I believe we only have about 4 of the Basketball players take part in Baseball, but it's only the subs.

All I can say is wow. I said it in the update post, but Morgan is a totally different team then when they lost to Elliott by 53. The 62 district tourny is going to be very interesting this year. But good job Elliott, hopefully this will be kind of a wake up call for the All A.

:thumb: Elliott just seemed to be a bit rusty or something tonight. Im not making excuses for them because Morgan has played a great game, but the Lions just didnt seem to bring that intensity with them tonight they usually play with.

No kidding. I am surprised at this one, but it goes to show you how unexpected Kentucky High School Basketball can be.

Elliott 64 Morgan 57 3:50 left in game

This is a totally different Morgan County team then the one Elliott beat by 53 in the season opener.

Yeah Im a regular but thought weather would be bad.

Morgan is playing there hearts out in this one. I do feel an Elliott run coming though.

Morgans hanging in there so far. Dont think it will last long but there giving Elliott a game in the first.

If you go to the elliott county board of education website, there is a link called basketball online and 102.9 is broadcasting the game.

I think ours is in April. I may be wrong, I havnt got the school schedule with me.

I teach at Elliott and luckily we cancel school when we play in a tournament, so depending on how far we go into the tournament, we may get thursday and friday off, meaning I can watch the whole tournament!!!!

Elliott will play the winner of the 7th region Thursday Jan 29 at 6:30. Does anyone know who won the 7th All A? The championship game was tonight but the score has not been posted yet.

Wow, good for Russel!! They seem to be getting better through the year. A big win over Ashland and now they beat Rowan.

Has Fairview got back the two players who missed the Elliott game? If so Ill take Fairview by 10. Should be a good game if Menifee decides to run.

This game certainly changes my perspective on the district. 2-4 could be any team besides Elliott. Perhaps East has finally found their game. Could be dangerous.
