  1. Are you serious? Have you ever been to an Elliott County game. That gym is packed, and almost every home game they have to open the PAC so people can watch the game on an overhead. I am a teacher at Elliott and every game I go to, it is full of students. Probally close to two thirds of the students I have are at the game. I have attended many local games and never seen the fire that an Elliott Co. crowd has. To even mention Elliott County in this thread is beyond my comprehension.
  2. Its going to be a great game, I think it will be high scoring, and I will go with my Elliott 81-78. I havnt seen Ballard play this year, but from what Ive heard and read, they like to run. Two great teams playing the running game will be very exciting to watch. Last home game of the season for the Lions, will be an emotional game as well.
  3. I was just wondering what time that these boys will play? Is there a J.V Game that night also? What time do the doors open to the school?
  4. Sad Senior night, Rough Physical game. Ferg has had a number of T's called on him in the last couple of years when he shows some emotion. It's just not fair. Others show emotion, frustration and get nothing called. There were plenty of better opportunities to throw the "T" tonight, this was just not it. I'm sure all the boys will be sore tomorrow from the rough physical play, but they are a pretty resilient bunch. Good Luck agains Ballard and be ready to play. It was good to Cody Nickell in the audience and this the day after surgery. We wish you a speedy and complete recovery. Give credit to Fleming, they didn't quit even though they were down by 10, 20, 30, 40!!!! They kept coming at us.
  5. Yes they tried. (at least in the first half, missed the second)
  6. First half was very physical and heard the second was even more so.
  7. I dont think he had 28, but I am not sure. Great job Elliott!!! Evan was on fire the first quarter and though I only saw half the game, heard they played a great second half. Now its time for Ballard!!!!:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:banana::banana::dancingpa:banana::taz::taz::ylsuper::ylsuper::dancingpa:dancingpa
  8. I know just foolin around:thumb:
  9. I feel for you. Mine was out 7 days during the ice storm, but only a couple of hours yesterday.
  10. Why are you so obsessed with Elliott County?
  11. I have no problem saying good job to a team that beats us. Shelby Valley beat us, and so did Cedar Hills. They were the better team that night and life goes on. And contrary to many peoples belief, we at Elliott County do not sit around blaming a loss on anything. This is being generated by Elliott-Bashers. We have only lost twice this year, so we cant give that many excuses. Not saying that to be arrogant, I just dont know why people are saying we are mad at others when we lose. I think many want to take things fans say the wrong way and make something out of nothing. Then when we respond we are un-sportsmans like fans. But anyways Ill get off my soap box. Its going to be a great game by two of the best in Ky and I will go with my Elliott County 81-78
  12. I agree, seeding the district helps to allow the best teams into the regional tournament. The tie breaker should be an extra game between the tied up teams. Sounds fair.
  13. Thanks sunrise! You should try to come to the game, if it is anything like the Mason game that gym will be rocking!!:dancingpa
  14. I believe if Elliott was playing a grade school team you would find a way to justify that Elliott would get beat. Its very comical!!:laugh:
  15. Everyone is making it sound like you have to travel through a dirt road on the side of a winding cliff to get here. Its curvy in spots and I guess if you are weak stomached it might get to you, but besides that its not that bad.:thumb:
  16. Elliott can play the last minute of the game just as strong and hard as the first minute of the game. Their great stamana is one of their many :thumb:strong points.
  17. East vs West in the first round of the district will be a great game! Its hard to bet against either team.
  18. We really dont care if you like us or not, we are just proud of our boys.
  19. Well if you followed every poll, Elliott would be anywhere from first to ten, so I usually stick to BGP poll, so I have no disire to re check a bunch of polls. :madman::madman:
  20. Seems like it was just a game or so ago that he hit 3000. Yeah the record is his!!!!:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa
  21. So if Jonathon is averaging 25 a game and has rougly 3050 points, he could pass Greene in about 5 or 6 games. Wonderful accomplishment.
  22. I said it in another post, but what a night for high school ball. Elliott beats a top ten team that many wanted to see to prove Elliott was legit, and big bad Holmes lost a game to a non top 20 team. But a loss for any team this kind of year usually helps them in March. Hopefully Elliott loss againest Shelby Valley was there wake up call as I am sure Holmes loss tonight was theirs.
