Marion County vs Bullitt East Predictions
MC has no problem with BE. Bullitt East will get a late score to cut into the lead. 28-14
-
Danville/Bardstown predictions
Danville will have a hard time stopping Ricky Harper but they can beat Bardstown. 21-13

Nelson County/Central Hardin predictions
If Central Hardin has its passing game clicking they will be hard to stop and I give them the edge. However LaRue Co. was able to run the ball against Central, so if Nelson Co can run the ball and keep the CH defense on the field NC should win.

Central Hardin 51 LaRue County 41
LaRue had a big game running the ball. 2 backs with alot of rushing yards. Sorry I don't know their names.
-
Meade County 23 North Hardin 21
Congrats to Meade Co. It would not suprise me if they ran off at least 4 more wins.
-
Greenwood 22 Nelson County 9
Nelson Co. is not playing well. The offense is not getting it done. Their run defense has been solid but the pass defense needs work. I have not seen the stats but I would guess that NC held Greenwood to low rushing yards.

John Hardin 47 Paul Dunbar 20
Impressive stats. JH is rolling and should have a deep run, like playing 15 games this season.
-
John Hardin/Paul Dunbar Predictions
I have not seen PLD play but have seen JH once. They are tough and very fast with a good QB. Good luck to both teams.

Nelson County/Greenwood Predictions
I expect a tough and close game. NC has lost their last 3 games and would love to turn things around. Greenwood is a good team and has the momentum. Nelson wins 21-17.

Shelby County 20 Nelson County 16
The NC defense was good tonight. They got to the SC QB alot and made him rush his throws. He still had some very good plays. He is a very good passer when given time to throw.
-
LaRue County 28 Green County 27
Big win for LaRue.
-
Marion County 57 Bardstown 20
Bardstown has played some good teams. Like mentioned by rebelroller I'm not suprised by the Marion win just the score.

Warren Central 31 Nelson County 28
Congrats to the Warren Central players, Coach Rogers and staff. You were ready to play and after falling behind earily you out played a good NC team on both sides of the ball. Good luck the rest of the way.

LaRue County at Green County predictions
Larue Co. in a good one 21 -20.

Nelson County/Warren Central Predictions
I agree dkm29. Nelson has had a very good offensive game and a very good defensive game. They could put it all together in this one. One thing that has been much better for NC this year is turnovers. Maybe its because they are not running up the middle every play. Good luck to Coach Rogers.

Bardstown/Marion County Predictions
Bardstown has not shown us a good defense yet. Marion Co. has played a good Bell Co team close and its defense was tough on a good Nelson Co offense. The Tigers D might show up this week if not Marion wins 28-14.

Nelson County 31 Marion County 14
The NC defense was good against Bardstown too, but big plays and 2 kick returns kept the score close.
-
John Hardin 22 Meade County 17
Should be a fun District to watch. I good team will not make the playoffs.
-
Nelson County 31 Marion County 14
Marion's defense is big and strong. They kept NC in tough spots all game. Bardstown vs Marion shoud be a good one.

Nelson County/Marion County predictions
Against Bardstown last week I think the Nelson Co defense was very good on most plays but they gave up a few big plays here and there. Those big plays with a punt and a kickoff returned for TDs kept it close. If NC can reduce those mistakes on special teams they will win 38-21.

Bardstown vs Bethlehem Predictions
Are you saying Bethllehem will do a better job of stopping Bardstown than Nelson did?
-
North Hardin 32 Larue County 6
Any game details or stats?

Scott County/Nelson County Scrimmage
Scott Co. will be fine. Very tough bunch of kids. Nelson Co. looking good,,,, sounds like trouble for rival Bardstown next week.:isurrender:

Nelson County Coaching Job
Quinten Brooks(Jr) and Alex Downs(Sr) will be the primary backs used. Andy Clowser(Sr) and Blake Martin(Jr) will get carries also. Daniel Mudd(Jr) did relieve Keene at QB last season but Tyler Marteniz(Sr) will be considered as well as playing some D-back. He was the back up and was the passing QB in passing situations, his Sophomore year. The Defense has alot of returning players. On the line will be Randal Curtsinger(Sr), Cody Gant(Jr), and possibly Derek Cocanougher(Sr), Cocanougher left the team before the end of the season last year. Others that will see the field in ther rotation are Cody Livers(Sr), Jacob Snellen(JR) and Mathew Hillard(Jr), all of whom saw playing time last year. At linebacker there is Cas Stanely(Sr), Daniel Osborne(Sr), Ryan Wimpsett(Jr), Demarcus Collins(Sr), and Jon Harrison(Jr). All are returning starters and saw significant playing time. The secondary will include Chase Simpson(Sr), Derek Brunhammer(Sr), Josh Pride(Sr), and Tyler Marteniz(Sr). All of which are returning starters. The O-line in my opinion will not be an issue. Yes, there were 4 seniors lost to graduation, but there are many other big guys that got in the rotation. Dominic Green 6'4 300 lbs (Sr), Trey Franklin 6'3 285 lb.(Sr), Mikey Young 6'1 290 lb (Sr), Brent Brussell 6'1 270 lb (Jr), Ryan Downs 6'0 240 lb (Jr) will all get most of the rotational time. All of these players have the experience to be very good at the varsity level. All in all I think this team has more talent then the previous 5 seasons.
