The Gators improve to 2-0 in 6AD2 on the strength of a flurry of 19 points in a 3:20 span to finish out the second quarter. NC forced three-and-outs on Greenwood's first two drives, but on the third drive the Gators pieced together a 15-play, seven-minute drive to go up 7-0. After forcing a three-and-out for NC on the ensuing possession, Greenwood QB Ty Downing tossed a 71-yard touchdown, and tossed another one from 23 yards out less than a minute later after a Nelson interception.

Greenwood allowed only 216 total yards (118 of which came in the first quarter) by Nelson Co.

Nelson Co. is not playing well. The offense is not getting it done. Their run defense has been solid but the pass defense needs work. I have not seen the stats but I would guess that NC held Greenwood to low rushing yards.

I have them at 58 yards on the ground.

This score really shocks me.

Nelson is falling apart at the seams. They change their offense weekly. The kids have lost confidence in the coaching staff.

I don't know about all that. They've just been at a lack for playmakers with key injuries to big guns like Pride and Brooks. Both of them are supposed to be back against CH, as well as some other guys, which should give them a talent+emotion boost.
