With Highlands in the dumps as of lately I can really see Newport pushing this one up and winning 10+.

Like I told you before Dog any time you want to come clean with names.

It is clear that Romes is the name that you want to promote as the POY and to do this you want to smear and discount any one that may be in his way of winning the POY. You will even go so far to say that coaches are padding stats. Romes is a good player along with Bryan and it is silly to sit here PRE season before any game is played to say any player will earn the title, there are to may good player in D III for that. If you want to make a cases for Romes lets see some stats. I must say the 2 times that I seen him play the first being the all A and the second being the second time that Bwood and Villa played. He had a better game in the all A. When Villa played Bwood, Alex Hall carried Bwood on his back in the second half for the win. The two things in that game to note was one that Bryan guarded Hall in the first half, Hall had 5 points, Hall had most of his over thirty points in the second half of the game, and two that Villa flat out after leading Bwood by 15 in the half(by the way Villa lead almost the whole game) ran out of legs on OT. These are facts. And Yes I said Villa lost. I feel sorry for Romes if he has people like luck dog "old" and "new" as one of his fans. I hear Romes is a good kid. But he or any player will not win POY without playing the season first, no matter how much others want to disount any player. Good Luck in your season with what ever team or players. As for me I will be pulling for Villa win or lose.

It's funny you want to say that he doesn't pass and then then turn around and say he has a turn over problem. You said small school don't always put 5 top players on the floor, and the point guard will get charged for turn overs when kid don't catch the ball or more offensively. I'm not saying they are not good player, but small school have so many different level of players on the floor. But lets get back to the real story here. If you think Bryan only want to get his points you don't know him at all. Another question to you all, would Love at Villa and Villa be better off with out him last year? Love was only about 30 points away on the year from Bryan (I believe that was 3 or 4 in NKY). If Bryan always had the ball and shooting how did Love get so many points. And wow Villa must be pulling in the bucks at the games last year. With all you following them and knowing how Bryan did at every game. Have you ever wonder where Lucky Dog is? Good for him. He would be a asset to any program, NKU or G-town. It is nice to see any NKY kid that puts in the hard work, get to play at any level after high school.

So if we are just talking about Bryan check the stats. He had over 140 asst. I believe that was 3rd in NKY and over 120 rebounds. Held Rouse to 0 at Ludlow in post season. I think that is more than a scorer.

So what you are saying that any kid that play D3 and go to a small school are not as good? are you going to discount,Giwa , Beuttel, Eastin, and Romes too. Wow maybe every one should all tranfer to Scott co. or Holmes. Sorry Small school you are just not good enough.

Ok then is there a move here or if he lived in Covington, how did he play at Newport? I really don't understand this tranfer thing.

Has he been cleared to play?

I'm not saying that Bryan is near POY or Mr. Basketball, but I also don't see anyone in their conference that's going to slow him down let alone stop him completely. But from looking at the numbers from last year I didn't see any reason he couldn't have been POY in the conference.

What about Brian Romes-Beechwood? Plays good D should he be higher on the list?
