It’s NFHS school rules except maybe running clock or time out situations.

Herein lies the problem, not saying Rez is, people don’t know what the rules are. They think what they watch on TV is the same across the board. It is not and applies to all sports, not just basketball.

Lol! Be the adult, check yourself at the door. Good advice for all parents as well! If the same child is always tying his shoes throughout the game maybe someone needs to step up and help.

What level is this? You have the right to a full time out. For example let’s say the game is a blowout, either way doesn’t matter, coach calls time out just to get subs in, opposing coach can use all the time out, regardless how much “calling” coach uses.

An official warning, new this year, is to be noted in the scorebook. However as JQ said it’s not a prerequisite for giving an immediate T. An example would be a personal attack not a comment about a call non call would probably lead to an immediate technical.

Thats why I’ve never understood the fascination with middle school teams and thinking it’s going to translate to high school.
