I'm just wondering how this second half will unfold, considering Paintsville is playing man-to-man defense with a six-player rotation. The Bulldogs' depth might play a big factor down the stretch. Some stats: Paintsville is shooting 48 percecnt from the field; Holmes is 33 percent. ... Holmes is outrebounding Paintsville 14-12. ... I do not think it is limited to just baseball either.

There may be others who have done the same thing this year, but those two are the two I heard for certain. Not saying that they would be leaders for the team this year, but I suspect they both would contribute not only this year, but next year as well. I too wonder when other NKY schools will start a Lacrosse program. It is an exciting game, and the boys really enjoy it. I for one was surprised at how physical the boys game is actually. I think that is one of the reasons they like it. I was very surprised when I heard the numbers going out for baseball. Last I heard there were only 18 or 19 freshman trying out. I would guess they all might make the team then. Not sure

Gerwe and Darpel are two of the juniors I have heard quit baseball to play Lacrosse. I also believe each year the number of boys playing Lacrosse is increasing, so other players may decide they would rather play Lacrosse than baseball

I believe several of the players that played baseball last year, are playing lacrosse this year for CCH.

Why is that? Since he is a good friend of his, thought he would be able to tell us something.

That was the one I was thinking of as well.

This could be said for both teams, as CCH also missed a lot of shots they normally make, and did not always get the calls either.

I too would like to see Dixie win, but I think Boone will win big, very big maybe even by 20. Dixie has no one who will be able to even slow down the big guys for boone

I know for a fact that this is how it went down, as I was in the line at the concession stand. Deters went outside, maybe even escorted after the game. He came back into the building, I guess to wait for his son, and as soon as the refs came out of the referee room for the next game, he approached them. I also know that at least two different CCH personnel sat down with him, during the game, I am guessing in an attempt to get him to chill a little bit. Obviuosly did not work

He did not just wait outside to see if they would acknowledge them. He walked right up to them and started going at them again, after he admitted to being the one yelling at them the entire game. Did anyone else notice how no other fan sat near him? it was as if they were expecting this behavior. Back to the CCH/ Boone game, does anyone have the link to the stats?

you are correct. He started the game against Pius, and played most of it, even after they were up by 20+

If CCH were to 'fix' it so they were on the 'easier' side of the bracket, wouldn't they put themselves on the other side with the teams they beat during the season(Dixie, Holy Cross, Holmes, etc)?

Dann’s suit claimed the Roselawn school had a record of academic failure, financial mismanagement and ethical lapses. “The school used a slick marketing program to con parents into sending their children to what turned out to be an inferior school,” Dann said at a press conference after filing the suit in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court. • Read the complaint. Harmony is rated in “academic emergency” – the lowest ranking – on the state’s 2006-07 Local Report Card. The lawsuit is the fourth Dann has filed seeking the closure of underperforming charter schools, but the first in the Cincinnati area. Charter schools are public schools that operate independent of public school districts. Some are run by for-profit companies, others by nonprofit community groups. Most of their funding comes from the state, which pays about $5,600 a year for each student.
