I agree, this was in response to NYmoney33 wanting to make this a personal thing between Gayheart and Devine instead of Owen vs Carroll

If this is a discussion on which of the two players deserves to be POY for the 8th region then so far Devine wins hands down. After five games Devine is averaging 22.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 3 steals per game. That includes games against Owen, Shelby and Walton Verona.

After being down 23 to 12 Carroll went on a 44-22 point run and finished the game strong. The team looked much more aggressive than the night before.

If either of these teams played like this against WV they would lose by 20.

Any details on this game. Henry goes to 3 and 0 with the win.

Gallatin will host Henry County tonight @7:30 Their only common opponent is Ludlow. GC won 55-51 and HC won 41-29. What is your prediction?

Carroll 58 to 52

If Simon can pressure the WV guards they will be able to turn them over and score some easy buckets. If Simon can't put pressure on the WV guards then it will be a Walton Victory.

This will be a big game for both teams. Two of Carroll's three games have been against teams in the upper half of the region. I think this will be the first true test for Owen. Carroll should have the advantage at home.

South will be a solid team come tourney time, they shouldn't have any trouble winning their district which should give them a first round game against one of the smaller schools. Once you get past the first round anything can happen. I still think Anderson will be the team to beat.

Tonight these teams were evenly matched. This will be fun to watch this year. They have at least two more games this season.

Congrats to the Wildcats sounds like they dug deep to get back into this game and pull out the victory.

Both teams scored well below their average tonight, I would attribute that to tough defense on both sides. Walton was more efficient on offense and was able to get to the foul line considerably more. I can honestly say that if this game was played 10 times it could be 50/50 or 60/40. Now we get to see who will improve as the season progresses. Unfortunately these two will meet in the first round of the 8th Region All A. Good luck to both teams.

Hey GF sorry about your Gators, I hope they regroup in time for the Bowl game. Do you think Charlie Strong is going to be a red bird?

Have you seen WV yet this year? I haven't but there are a bunch on here singing their praises. It sounds like they have a huge team and go about 10 deep. Does anyone have a good analysis of this team?

Williamstown is experienced at all positions and with Gallatin missing Jones they have an inexperienced backcourt. I think Williamstown will win this one by 5

If CC can stay out of foul trouble I believe they can hang with WV. I think this will be a tight game that will come down to the wire. CC by 3

Sounds like a strong team, I haven't seen WV play yet this year what are their biggest strengths and possible weaknesses.

This will be a huge test for the GC Wildcats. But I think they match up well with the Walton bigs inside and could pull off the victory. I would feel more confident if GC was at full strength.

Shelby shows great toughness with the victory over South Oldham after a tough week with the loss of their former teammate.

What I have heard is she will be out a couple of weeks. Hopefully this is the case.
