I havn't seen times or brackets for the games on here yet.

Really ,don't you feel that some of the comments I made were true,about the quality of coaches you have in AAU, it being a big money deal, playing without practices, not taking any time off, the large % of boys not being noticed by college coaches, the travel expenses, and on most teams I saw, a few would hog the ball especially if they knew they were being watched. I loved the game and playing when I was in school as much as onyone but I don't know if I could take it like the kids do today.

I don't know about the teams in N KY but Clark, Montgomery and Mason Co all have good teams. The best, by far frosh team I've see this year is Louisville Trinity.They look and play like a varsity team.Of course they're not in the 10 th region.

There's pros and cons to these programs. Some pros are exposure to college coaches but what % of boys playing AAU ball would even be noticed. I'm sure some kids develope some skills ,some being good and some being not so good. Another thing is ,Why would anyone want to coach AAU ball and what % of the coaches are really good coaches? How can you practice maybe once a week and get a team organized.Last year ,our AAU team had kids from Eastern . Central and Northern ky. Practice sessions are hard to meet.The con that I see is getting burned out. Kids get out of the high school schedule and in two weeks start traveling all over the U.S. to play game after game and play all summer until the high schools plays their games in August and then the schools have open gym 4-5 nights a week.. Kids need some time off. I saw as many games in AAU as anyone on this site last year ( EXCEPT FOR COACHES) and you can not tell me a kid can't get burned out. AAU is a money deal big time. You can argue all you want but that's the way I see it.

I've been watching Elliott Co off and on for the last 3 years and Ferguson is one of the best outside shooters in the state, if not the best, and he has the ability to get that shot off so fast. Great shooter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought both Clark and Montgomery played well. No degrading remarks from me.

They practice Wednesday, that will be Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off, 3 days.

Just found out , Clark Co 49 and Montgomery Co 35. Stenzel was high for Clark Co with 17 points and Vancleve added 14.

Sorry, got the wrong Information, Stenzel had 17 for Clark Co and Vancleve had 14.

Just found out the score of the Clark Co -Montgomery Co freshman game. For Clark ,Vancleve scored 14 and Stenzel 17.

They were on TV last week , played Largo ,Saturday, I think. The game was played on the South Laurel floor.

Most of all ratings are a joke. Holmes looked awfully good last week.I believe they may be the best right now.

In my opinion AAU ball is what you might call "A NECESSARY EVIL". I think it burns a lot of kids out.:ylsuper:

I know that northern ky has a lot of excellent young players but I'm just not familiar with them. I have a lot of respect for Eta Rho's comments and if he praises those boys in N KY then I know they're very good. I comment on those I'm familiar with. SORRY.:ylsuper:

Sure didn't know that big shoes makes one a good ball player. If I were coaching , I'd buy larger shoes for the entire ball team.:banana:

I think Chris O'hearn has done a very good job at Mason Co. He's a good coach and a very good person as well.:ylsuper:

I'd also add Pawsat to Mason Co and Daniels to Clark Co. Sure wish the King twins and Caldwell were playing in the Class A state tourney.:ylsuper:
