Clark County's Rogers out for rest of regular season

Featured Replies

I found out about this a few days ago. Tough break for the kid and his team. I wish him well and god bless him for a speedy recovery.

That's just terrible. Wishing a speedy and complete recovery for this young man.

What a bad break for the CARDS.:idunno:

Sorry to hear this, really liked his play, reminded me an awful lot of Lynn Hopewell from back in the day

Clark County cannot lose anymore players with the way Mason County is playing lately.

That's too bad to hear. Good luck Corey.

Is their any chance he will be back for the post season?

Yes. From what I was told it was 6 weeks and that was a week ago. I could be wrong though...

Ok, thank you, hope he has a very speedy recovery and can help his team come tournament time.:thumb:

Depends on how far we go in the post season.

Also heard he would be out 8 weeks....guess we will just have to wait and see how he heals and what the Dr.'s say.

What a year for the Cards and injuries..... just unbelievable.

Is this two key players Clark has now lost for the season? When it rains it pours as the saying goes. I feel sorry for Clark, but even more so for the players that miss the season. Not that it's much of a consolation, but at least they will be back to play again. I hope the team can tighten up the belt, and pull through this. I know they are capable.

Yes Travis Pervis tore his ACL just before the beginning of the season. Morehead State has already offered a schlorship...so we know the caliber of player he is. Rogers is our starting center and was averaging 15+ points and 10 rebounds a game. Both are Sophomores, so yes they will be back next year.

Starting lineups may change ...depending on how we match up. Very proud of the way the Cards have been playing lately with all they have faced.....lots of character in this team.

They have been very resilient thus far. It makes me pull a little harder for these kids, though I must admit, I havent followed them before. It seems to me that a lot of lifes hard lessons are being learned, and they seem to be handling them impressively.

Thanks we appreciate your support. These kids are amazing...why this group will be one of my favorites. They are outstanding kids on and off the floor.

Will try and post updates on Cory when I hear them.
