I should research this myself, but how much can it be to put Bluetooth speakers on the poles? At first blush, it doesn't seem like it would be a major capex cost.

That's one perspective. Another is it so loud on the home side that it rattles the fillings in your teeth. If the visitors can't hear it now, no use having it so loud.
