The Lady Pats gutted out a hard fought defensive battle tonight, and were led by Upchurch with a big 2nd halve.

Lady Pats survive a scare from Southwestern and hold on for a big 12th region win 42-36. Way to go Lady Pats.

Pats up 39-32 43 seconds left in the game. Sorry about the updates, web problems. Lady Pats looking like they might hang on for the win.

24-23 Lady Pats 1:10 to go in the 3rd.

20-12 Southwestern at the halve. Pats are in foul trouble as Upchurch with 3, Brown with 3, and Henderson with 2. Seems to me the refs are whistle happy.

20-12 with 1:15 to go Southwestern.

18-10 Southwestern with 4:20 to go in the halve. Lady Pats getting in to foul trouble with three starters with two.

10-8 Pats 6:15 to go in 2nd.

Lady Pats up 8-6 to end the 1st.

3-2 SW. 2:20 to go in 1st.

Real ugly early 2-0 Lady Pats 2:45 1st.

I wouldnt count Rockcastle County out tonight. They are always tough at home. 48-44 the Rock.

This is a really good night for 12th region Basketball with Southwestern hosting Lincoln Co. Also Casey Co. is at Rockcastle Co. tonight to. IN my opinion the four top teams of the 12th region. Both games should be wars.

A matchup of two of the regions top teams. Should be a dog fight with the Lady Pats winning a down to the wire type game 55-52.

In the 12th region Burgin has put together a really nice season so far.

Should be a good game with the Raiders pulling away late 74-65.

Rose hill has a solid team, But Elliot is the class of the region this year 88-62.

Sounds like these two had a real dandy last night.

The winner of the 12th region will be crowned in Stanford this year.

Garrard Co. style of play tough to beat and they are at home to. I'll take the Lions 60-54.

Russell Co. still beat one of the better teams in the 12th region, so they deserve a little respect for going on the road and pulling out the win.

I hope Garrard can develope some bench before district and regionals. If they can they will really be tough to beat because the starting 5 are solid. Good luck the rest of the year gchs.:thumb:

A very good win for Garrard Co. last night but that is just one game. In my opinion The Region still runs through Lincoln Co. and there is still alout of basketball to play. Again congrats to Garrard for a big win last night.
