Good game to watch. Warriors led most of the game until late in the third. Lakers are a pretty solid team with a record of 16-1.

I think Russell County is a little inflated.

 

Who have they beat? An opening day win at home against Lincoln looks to be their best win.

 

Nothing against Russell, but their schedule says it all.

Southwestern seems to be getting better every night out. They will again be a tough matchup for McCreary in the district tournament.

Russell Co. still beat one of the better teams in the 12th region, so they deserve a little respect for going on the road and pulling out the win.

Maybe I have no room to talk, but I don't think Southwestern is one of the better teams - yet.

 

I look back to last seasons upset of McCreary, who hoped to draw Monticello in the first round. This McCreary team plays much better defense in a slow paced game. I think that is an advantage for them when they play Southwestern.

 

I think this McCreary team is better prepared to compete with teams with a stagnant offenses like Southwestern.
