Walton is an run dominated offense but can't throw is way to strong. Current QB is the first Walton QB to throw for over 1,000 yards in a season. They are passing more than they ever have this year.

Agreed, that game was closer than the score indicated. I still give Gallatin the edge in this one.

Owen was way down this year from the previous two years.

Battle till the end with Walton scoring with about 28 seconds left to take the lead. These teams have a pretty good rivalry and I would love to see them play in the regular season too.

Gallatin vs WV, Holy Cross vs Holmes. Been awhile for Holy Cross so I assume they have improved.

I don't see it. Gallatin's line is big and physical and having seen both teams play I give the nod to Gallatin.

WV feels the same way about Gallatin and Homes, all good teams should be wanting correct their previous losses.

Can't use mutual games but games played headed to head. I said in a previous thread comparing like opponents seldom predicts future scores. The Newport Walton game was head to head. This time of year whomever puts together their best play advances and Walton last against LCA was one of their best efforts of the year. Hopefully, that trend will continue for them.

WV should be ahead of Newport. They beat Newport 48-13.

Bellevue and Holmes are two this year. How many more should they play if you don't count Grant County and the four district games? Kentucky Country Day and LCA are the only two teams that are out of the area. Both of those two teams are good programs. Walton played Cooper in it's first year of varsity football and lost in a tight game.

I will go with Gallatin in this one.

Everytime I try to compare scores I get confused because it rarely turns out that it is accurate for predictions.

LCA's district includes: Somereset, Middlesborro, Danville. All very good 2A teams. Prestonsburg better have their best game or this could be problems for them.

Yes not the game to look past. They are better than the record indicates.
