I think the game against Ballard is were Chris Harrison will be missed for the Rocks. It seemed to me Harrison thrived against pressure defense but I'm excited to see how Trinity handles it.

I'm not surprised by that score Moore only lost one player from their 23 win season last year. Don't let the first game Moore played fool ya they were without a few players and when they were at full strenght they beat Male in ot. This 7th region is stacked.

I heard Sewell scored 8 points in 12 minutes of action if he didn't have foul trouble probably would of score 20, so I don't it was Johnson shutting him down.

You think Justice would play in Louisville for all the fans to see there recruit. Don't they do that a lot with other commitments?

That's true and you do have to be frustrated by that, I thought they were the most talented team last year but when you don't play team basketball you get hurt. Take a look at Central last year no superstars on that team and made it to the championship game. Will it be the same this year with Scott Co. I'm not sure I won't get to watch many more of their games unless they are in Louisville but if you look at just the first game doesn't seem like they fixed anything yet. Hicks has been in business long enough he'll figure something out.

From the Louisville area it's probably Sewell if he has a big year and Trinity can upset some people and go deep into the postseason. Donovan Gibbs, signed with IUPUI from Iroquois has a chance just depends if his team can do anything this year. I don't think anyone from Louisville wins though the talent outside of the city is tremendous. Euton, Jackson and Guyn are all very good, they can't win because to many stars on the team. I haven't seen Justice play yet, I hear good things about him but would like to see him in person does he play in Louisville this year?

Everyone it's the first game of the season for Scott Co., I would be worrying if this was happening late in the year. Ballard did they wanted force tempo and get the play to be up n down. Scott Co. fell right into that plan and that's why you see everyone playing 1 on 1 on offense. You play the tough games at the beginning of the season to see what your team needs to work on and now the Cards should have an understanding what needs to be done to win. Your right there was no chemistry between Euton, Jackson or Guyn but that takes time, both teams are top 5 and this game was as expected high scoring and down to the wire. It's still to early to make judgements on how the season will pan out after one loss.

Congrats on that award he definately deserves just seeing highlights of him, I was very impressed. Anyways does anybody know when he'll make a commitment?

No rhythm to the game. Alot of questionable calls but exciting though up and down basketball. Chiles for Ballard has a nice outside shot, if Scott Co. could hit free throws they would be down by 6 or 7. Euton has a nice shot from the outside. I expect a run by Scott Co. sooner or later.

Yes that #5 is Stephan Robinson, he has committed to the University of Louisville. That kid can absolutely fly, now was Henry Co. able to move the ball up and down the field? Also after Magness left the game how much of the offense changed? Did they keep their no-huddle approach with different formations? Just curious.

Yes they finished with a freshman quarterback in the game. Chris King was out already and Diaz Bolden took a shot from what the paper said that knocked him out and a freshman finished the game for them. It's awful to hear a player go down especially one that brings so much to the table for Henry, I would love to see this game with both teams full strength it would of been a classic. I hope Magness comes back stronger than he was before, a joy to watch when we played them.

Central 41-30 late in the 4th

I was hoping SK would of scored the TD to make it 41-40 then go for 2 for the win. Oh well sounds like a great game to be at. It sure does give SK respect around the Louisville area that's for sure.

Does Henry Co. have a backup qb thats any good?

Just like last week game is close going into the 4th Central finds a way to win again. Henry Co. will pose a tougher challenge for the Jackets, I really like how the d-line explodes off the ball against a suspect line of Central that could be a huge key in the game. I like the speed of Central just a little more but I feel this game will be lower scoring then the Western Hills game. Central pulls out another win in the 4th. Should be a great game.
