LCA has a very good coach and they execute well.

The Coach will probably get fired.

I've been told one kid, that is a senior, and is QB has a scholarship offer to play basketball at a EKY School. If all this is true, I am suprised that his dad would let him quit.

IMO- they built their season around to beat Paris. They called it "the game". They had/have no shot in their district at the present time. Actually they would've had no shot in Paris' district, if they could play Class A. If I am not mistaken, one of the QB's dad is an Asst. Coach for Bourbon Co. Colonels.

I saw one of them playing basketball the other day. The Barnes kid was not the QB for the Paris game, Wigglesworth was, and did a fine job. If I can recall from my memory Barnes played on special teams/punt return, but I don't think he had many yards, I don't think he can do much "out of the pocket". He's quick but is easily tackled.

Isn't this the place where Bourbon County (in the past) likes to run and slide in the mud, yelling, yipeee ???

All I can say, how many penalties did they have at Paris? And why where some of the coaches going out of control and several parents trying to out-coach the coaches on the sideline. that all spells problems. And I am not talking about every player on that team, because I saw real effort from some of them. You all have won 2 games? Correct me if I am wrong.

If the majority of Rowan Co. can get rid of the bad attitude(s), they should win easily. There is no reason why that team should be loosing like they have. Big Line and some real talented athletes that can run the ball hard. I saw them at Paris, and I thought some on the sidelines were totally out of control!

No it is just grass now, there is no more Bermuda on it, that I can see. I have nothing to do with the field, neither does KCU54. There are about two or three people over there that claim to own it. They are staticians, they are who you need to talk to about it.

My past experiece with that is, I have seen some really talented athletes going into the rounds of the playoffs not caring one way or the other if they win or not, due to the fact they are wanting to play basketball. Another problem with playing at a small school. i.e. As much as I love UK, I will NOT watch one basketball game until football is over. But maybe not everyone loves football as much as we do?

That is what I saw. Paris' seniors wanted it, but they can't play for everybody. They had the momentum going their way, that is what happens when you have a small amount of seniors and have to depend on underclassman.

Oh they where there, and they still put some good licks on them. It wasn't till some of the younger line starting giving up that Bourbon could get the ball out of Paris territory. So don't try and call me out on here.

LCA will win their district. They are not state contenders, yet.

I will say Bourbon's Wigglesworth really carried the team. They will miss him next year. Paris had about 3 underclassman that just totally gave up after an onside kick. That is very disappointing, considering it was senior night and your seniors are out there giving it all they got.

I think Franfort took it to LCA in the preseason? I am for our district team, but I don't think they can pull it off this year... I look for FHS to sneak in this year and bring many suprises.

:thumb: Totally agree with you JimmyV. There would have to be financial problems for this to happen too. Bourbon folks don't want it and Paris folks don't want it either. And I can understand from both perspectives why they feel that way. Paris scores very well on CATS, and even though they have small graduating classes, they have high %s of Commonwealth Diplomas and Scholarships. That is impressive. Hey BTW everyone else- Let's not forget while everyone is on here down on the Hounds this year (excpet for a few), We are having a rough season, not a 3 year losing streak! :confused: I don't think there will be any OT. Paris puts it away. BCHS will have to look for a third string QB! :ylsuper: I hear BCHS got confused and thought their Senior Night is tonight at Blanton Collier Stadium!:lol:

The D twins. I think they are like giants in the 4th grade over there!

I wish Bourbon well too, just not on Paris' game night!
