  1. Will someone please tell me if this game is at 7 or 7:30? :thumb: Thanks
  2. I still pay attention to what is going on, and normally go to the best games in the area, but I am not into it nearly as much as I am when the team is still in it.
  3. This game, IMO, comes down to how well Highlands plays. Cov Cath has been playing very well the past few weeks, but I still see Highlands being too strong for them in the 3rd and 4th quater. Highlands:21 Cov Cath:10 Oh yeah, and what time is this game, 7:30? I will be there ready for a good game.
  4. Well said :thumb:. Not saying Bellevue is going to win the game, we all know that will take some kind of miracle, but what is wrong with believing they can win? I mean, say Beechwood was playing Cincinnati St. X, some Beechwood fans would beleive Beechwood could win the game (no matter what anyone says on here some would believe). So whats wrong with Bellevue fans thinking they can win? NOTHING:madman:
  5. Both teams played really hard and Bellevue scored a touchdown on a long pass to score with 27 seconds left in the game. Both teams played good, would like to make 2 comments on the game. 1) Worst officiating crew I have ever seen, for both teams. And the last pass interference when Brownfield picked the ball off was horrible by all means. 2) Dayton decided to throw the ball every down possible. No one could figure it out why, because when they ran the ball they would pick up good yardage and scored both times running, but still continued to throw the ball every single down. Still scratching my head on that one. Good game though
  6. Come on we had secrets in the Dayton/Bellevue game, not this game too .
  7. No, their field is in great condition but no field turf. They are having estimates done now though on to see how much it would be to put it in there.
  8.:laugh::laugh: Best one yet-- look out for Tommy Barrett at the new QB position lol
  9. We all heard the trashtalking before the first game as well, and Dayton came out and smacked Bellevue in the mouth. I just can't wait till tonight, things will get really interesting with Bellevue's 'secret weapon'.:lol::lol:
  10. So I just confirmed this 'secret weapon' is Thomas Barrett starting at QB. I know he has decent speed, but is fairly small (built like Bukler). Personally I see this as an advantage for Dayton since this would be his first start ever at QB, but I look for Bellevue to try some QB run packages. Highly doubt they will try to pass with him that much since he won't be able to see over the big lineman, but will try to run with him some.
  11. No matter what your 'secret weapon' is Bellevue is not going to go to a spread offense and everyone knows that. They are going to line up in a power I or a wing T and try to run the ball all game, just like they did in the first game and have been doing all year long. If Dayton gets up on them again early like they did last time it will be similar to last game, if not it will be a good close game, with Dayton still coming away with a W.
  12. So is Babb really not playing, or is he just not starting?
  13. Don't look too deeply into that game, Dayton sat 5 two way starters, including two of their best players.
  14. Based on what? Dayton won the game in all phases last time, how will Bellevue turn it around. Just curious to see what you have to say.:thumb:
  15. I highly doubt it is like Oregon's offense unless he is a better runner than all of your running backs. And I really hope that your incorrect about Babb, hopefully he can play so both teams might be able to play at full strength. And if Bellevue completely redid their offense I see that as a good thing for Dayton. Sure they won't have scouting on them, but it is so hard for a team to change an offense in the middle of season, let alone at the beginning of the playoffs. They have yet to run the offense against a good defense and that will mess up the timing of the offense. Either way it will be interesting to see what Bellevue does against them, and hopefully Babb can play.
  16. And as for Bellevue's secret weapon Thomas Barrett is starting. I'm not sure where he is starting, I suspect they may have him starting at quaterback but then that would seem like a very late change to do. I see him probably starting at half back with Buckler. How is this a secret weapon when he has been playing all year though?
  17. Dayton had 4 turnovers too, thats only 2 less than Bellevue. One time they gave the ball up on Bellevue's 10 yard line after a dropped punt. And also good teams make other teams make mistakes....
  18. Beechwood cake eaters? NO, thats Ft. Thomas's claim to fame
  19. No, I would be rooting for Ludlow in a regular season game because Beechwood is the powerhouse of the district and everyone (outside of Beechwood fans) loves to see them fall.
  20. Hold on hold on hold on..... How did Bellevue dominate the line of scrimage when they scored ONE touchdown? Thats a whole game of dominating a line and only scoring ONE touchdown.... Count it ONE. That is not dominating the line at all. Neither team dominated the line, other than Dayton dominating it at the end of the game when Dayton was gashing Bellevue for 15 yards a run right before the JV players came in. Also how did Bellevue dominate the line when Bellevue's leading rusher had 45 yards on 16 carriers, thats only 2.8 yards a carry. As a defense I will take that anyday.:thumb: I hope they dominate like that again Friday.
  21. Tim McIntyre has recieved letters from Louisville, UC, and UK. Not sure how serious they are about him, but he has great feet, good speed and strength, and has an excellent body stature for an OL in college.
