  1. As Boyle County has great respect for Lone Oak. :thumb:
  2. Rowan County is no push over. However, I still think that Lawrence County is the better team here and that they will win by 3 TD's.
  3. I was taking a look at some of the undefeated's in 4A. There are currently 5 teams left undefeated in 4A with that being Allen County-Scottsville, Boyle County, Lawerence County, Lone Oak and West Jessamine. Two of those are not currently ranked in the top 10(Lawerence County and West Jessamine). West Jessamine goes on to take on Boyle County for their first real good test of the season as Lawerence County will try to prove itself against Rowan County. Now, Rowan County is a darn good team and definitely no push over. If Lawerence County wins, do they get into the top 10? I know they have played a weak schedule but how good is this Lawerence County team?
  4. Per KHSAA website. Just decided to show the past games within the last decade. Boyle County did not play West Jessamine from 2003 to 2006. 1999: Boyle County 42/West Jessamine 6 2000: Boyle County 67/West Jessamine 13 2001: Boyle County 59/West Jessamine 0 2002: West Jessamine 13/Boyle County 9 2003-06: DNP 2007: Boyle County 45/West Jessamine 14 2008: Boyle County 55/West Jessamine 6 While Boyle County usually dominates West Jessamine, you definitely wouldn't want to over look these guys. I still think Boyle County wins big. I was just bored.
  5. He's definitely a winner. You got that right! :thumb:
  6. Boyle County's offensive live is undersized against every team they play. However, they are rock solid and are able to knock the big boys back.
  7. It very well could be. :thumb: On paper I'd say Boyle County wins by at least 4-5 TD's but.....that's why they play the game.
  8. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that he hasn't. Yeah, if Boyle County can stay consistent then they will have a great chance at taking state.
  9. Lamar Dawson from Boyle County is a darn good linebacker.
  10. I wonder the same thing. When Pardue took over things got ugly. Players were dropping like flies for whatever reason it may have been. Some of best players on the team quit. The offensive calling was questionable during that period of time, too. I think that they definitely had the athletes at the time but the coaching was questionable. I'm just glad French took over! I think that French has never won a state title.
  11. PurplePride, you did it again! I wanted to be nice about it but you once again took the words right out of my mouth. I agree 100%! :notworthy:
  12. Boyle County showed that they have some weaknesses and they were most definitely exposed against Lexington Catholic. The Rebels will settle down this week and win big but more importantly they will continue to get to where they need to be come playoff time. This could be a good test for the Rebels. Who knows.
  13. I think the thing that helps Lone Oak the most getting ready the playoffs, and FalconBacker pointed this out earlier, is winning these games in extreme conditions. Winning in an ugly rainy day, but winning it in a good fashion is a really great thing! Lone Oak may be a force to be reckoned with come playoff time.
  14. Sounded like an ugly nasty rivalry game. Details from anyone that attended?
  15. Lone Oak remains undefeated. Congrats! :thumb: 8-0, correct?
  16. As you should come watch Boyle County's Rees MacShara play. Also hoping for a Bowling Green trip. :thumb:
