It was close midway through the 3rd quarter before Taylor Barnes went down for Bourbon. Franklin couldnt stop Bourbon... The colonels stopped themselves in this one with two crucial holding calls that cost them 2 TD's... and the lead!

Haven't heard that one yet, but he is trying to work with Bracken, Lewis,and either East/West Carter. These are teams they scrimmage preseason and come away with wins. These are the teams to get on the schedule.

From what I know he has started an elementary program and is working closely with the middle school program as well. He is trying his best. People just aren'tbeing patient and that's the problem.

Tell that to the Bourbon County Superintendent. She is so ready to have a winning season that she is not wanting to give Rick a few years to try and build a program.

How do you give Massie a C? He won more games as head coach then the team had won the previous 2.5 years. He is doing the best he can with what he has to work with. You have to give him an A for effort. It's not his fault he has little talent and only 30 some kids to work with.. which is sad when the high school holds around 900. As for administration, some are behind him while others want him out.. just like the community.. it seems like the parents of the kids who arent playing for whatever reason say they arent playing because of coaching, but yet some of the community who respects what he is trying to do is behind him all the way.

He sure did but got turned down for apparently saying something about the lack of support and tradition. Obviously those doing the hiring didnt take it too well. Interviews are supposed to wrap up this week. Hopefully a decision will come early next week.

Bottom line and in all seriousnesss, are you saying that the new coach who comes in needs to be aware of what the administration may promise because that very well may not be the case? Do you personally think its worth a coaches time trying to come here to build a program?

Hound didn't go too far.. I believe the former coach went too far when he began downgrading a school that gave him a job in the first place. Paris may make adminstrative decisions that not everyone agrees with(myself included) however their biggest mistake thus far was hiring a man in the first place not based on his experience but by his looks..... (or so it's been said)

Paris needs to fire you now without pay for the remainder of the school year. And why would you recommend a "friend" of yours to come to the same school that you obviously despise?

Once again the 40th will be the toughest. Montgomery will again probably win the region, Clark County came on strong towards the end of this season and have the Rogers coming back. While Paris graduated 4 of 5 starters, they still have a nice player in Emily Hinkson who could very well be 1st team All Region, along with a young core of players on the JV team who nearly ran over the competition this year. Only Bourbon will be down, but I still look for the other 3 to be in the top 5 of the region all year.

Great season for MC.Congrats to FS. I still expect to see the Indians back at Diddle next year! They definitely have the potential coming back.

Trust me I've done everything I can for this football team other than going to Vicki and saying "Give me the Job." However with the fights we have gotten into, I don't think she'd give me a chance anyway, and plus I wouldn't want to work for her, or against Phil.

Goes along with the last sentence of (never going to get better) I'm just stating the facts when I think they will still be a bad program. I'd love for them to prove me wrong!
