Sorrell is POY... why does everyone hate on him? He would do what he did on any team he is the all around best player in NKY and possibly the best shooter in the state...

Sorrell is the best player in the 9th hands down... He scores when he wants everyone on here is trying to take it away from him because he dosent have a team behind him but we will see come district time...

Agreed without all the three's Holy Cross wins and by the looks of the first match up Cov. Cath can't stop Sorrell... Cov. Cath had the best three point night ever guys were hitting three's that normally score 2 points a game

Great Atmosphere tonight the cheering section of Holy Cross suprised Cov Cath and may of won that battle but as for the game they need an offensive threat outside of Sorrell. They have Giwa but he is not always on... Holy Cross needs to go more with looking to drive to the basket quicker they stand around and wait to long.... Giwa and Trimpe can both take anyone to the hole... Stewart and Trimpe need more playing time and Barth is no threat on offense and is not a very good defender they should look to give sophmore egan some playing time from the looks of the JV game he is very physical and can score

Henderson did an excellent job defending sorrell, but the refs are the ones that held sorrell from getting his points. Sorrell has been averaging 12 freethrows a game and did not attempt one last night and Holy Cross does not reach the bonus in the 1st half and gets it in the 2nd half but not until a minute left in the game.

Friday night at Ryle

I have seen all of these teams play and Holmes is the fastest team. The way Holmes is playing they would beat any team in the state right now not named Mason County

I would have to go with Mason County with Holmes Bulldogs right behind them. Holmes has the best pressure and get up the floor faster than anyone in the state!

I wouldnt count them out yet, Yes Holmes and CovCath are both very good teams but HC schedule leading them up to playing these teams might get them ready. Sorrell will be tough to handle for both teams
