The diamond and chaser really seemed to throw South out of their game. Walton build a 12 point lead in the second half and South battled back. Walton hit a couple big three's and converted their free throws to seal the win. Without a doubt, WV's Sandlin was the best player on the floor today.

The Lady Cats will now play Marion County on Thursday. This will not be an easy task. ALL of the Lady Cats will have to bring their "A" game in order for them to have a shot at the upset. This will be their toughest challenge all year.

As much as I really enjoy watching this Walton team, they will be lucky if they are within 14 of Marion on Thursday from what I have been told about Marion. I do hope I am completely wrong!!!
