Congrats to Campbell county. They simply outworked Scott for the first 3 qrtrs. Just when I thought I kids figures it out they come out and play pretty soft. Very disappointing.

Congrats to Campbell Co. on the District championship. Congrats to my uncle on the coaching staff! Scott just seems easy to guard this year. Jackson is a great player, but needs someone to take the pressure off.

To be more precise, its Campbells' first District title in the newly reformatted 37th back in 2006.

Prior to 1996/97 we were actually all in the 36th - Brossart, Highlands, Scott, Campbell County, Silver Grove (I think).

Since I've been involved in Brossart sports I have participated in all three district setups.

The move from the 9th Region - District 36, to 10th Region - District 38 happened at the onset of the 1996/97 season.

I think you are correct on all of it except wasn't the District the 38th when CC, PC, BB, Bracken, and Silver Grove.

to get back on thread topic, The Camels had to much for the Eagles to keep in check tonight. The Camels played tough on both sides of the ball the first 3 quarters. Eagles did make a run in the 4th when the Camels seemed to soften the intensity they had the first three quarters. Soft lazy passes, and lack of movement against a tough Scott press. Campbell Coaches need to address that, as I'm sure they will. The Camels had as much as a 17 point lead on a couple of occasions. They did finish with an 11 point victory, but the Eagles made it a tough 4th quarter for the Camels. They have to take care of the ball better if they plan to go anywhere in the 10th. I'm a huge Camels fan, but they can't keep having those spurts of lackadaisical play.

Yes, that's right. Campbell County won districts in '01 and '02, which was Kevin Reinhardt's senior year. They won region in '01: Kevin was a junior. Coach Dan Sullivan was at CCHS then.

 

Campbell county played a great game on defense tonight! Miller and Griffin did an outstanding job on defense, and McGovney was big the whole game!!! Scott's kids played hard til the end. Carr always has them playing tough!!! Good luck at region Eagles!

Nate has had an outstanding season. Congrats to him and his teammates. Would not be surprised to see them in Rupp. Good Luck.
