Awesome first half, not so much the second half. Big lead throughout.

Wow. Congrats to GRC and Goldie!!! What a season for GRC.

Our defense was awsome!!!Held Montgomery Co to 5 points in the first Q and 3 in the 2nd. Half time score was GRC 28 Montgomery Co 8.

 

Taylor Howard played great on both ends of the floor. He had 19 points.

 

So nice to meet Coach Wise of Montgomery, very nice talking to him before the game.

Montgomery wins the second half, unfortunately the first half was very bad. Clark plays with some attitude on defense and that is where they won the game. Montgomery could not do much of anything in the half court. Prewitt playing with illness issues, not 100%. I hope they get to meet up again.

Anyone gots stats on this game?

I thought clark got in a hurry with a 20 point lead and took some bad shots or turned the ball over in the 3rd quarter hurrying the ball down the floor. I don't quite understand that logic. When you're ahead 20 , take care of the ball and use a good shot selection and use some clock. I did think we did a great job on the boards, Fatkin with 10, Stenzel with 9 and Howard with 7. (Unofficial) Howard had an outstanding offensive game, and Fatkin had some key putbacks. The entire team played great defense especially in the 1st half. Rogers did a good job on Prewitt.

^^I agree. Too many turnovers, and 1pass/shot series. This helped MC reduce a 24pt lead donw to as little as 13. There were several instances of missed ends of one-and-1's. Indians kept fouling sending the Cards to the line but the hit thier last 8 to seal the game.
