They were way higher than what is normally recorded even amongst PED users. I can't help but think that maybe the lab screwed something up and Braun's defense team used the chain of custody defense because they knew that could better argue that angle. I thinnk the correct ruling was made.

Put me in the camp of Braun being innocent of at least roids.

Braun is as innocent of PED's as Pete Rose was of betting on baseball. He did not deny he has taken PED's but that doesn't matter because these guys are all liars anyway. Clemens, Palmero, Bonds, etc. etc. They all destroy any belief in integrity a fan may have. That is why any clean baseball player should be coming down on any cheaters. The cheaters put suspicion on every pro athlete. But they don't care. Give me my check and forget integrity. Because of all these cheaters, I have little respect for any pro athlete as a person. The players who protect the cheaters are as bad as the cheaters themselves.

Do you know for sure the sample tested was not his? The sample collector did this as a side job. Read post #49. Braun got lucky like OJ got lucky. Perhaps Mark Fuhrman was the collector.

Thank you for proving my point. You can't say with 100% certainty it was his. Maybe he got lucky maybe he is innocent. The fact is the lab tech screwed up. There's a reason procedures are in place.

No, but I agree with RE. I pretty much consider them all cheaters first and have to be convinced by their character and actions that they might not be a cheater. That is just the way I see it today. I see them as guilty by association. That is why every player who isn't a cheater should be PO'd to the nth degree every time one they see or hear of someone cheating. It casts the character of every pro athlete in negative light.

It tested positive for synthetic testosterone and that is fact. And if I were a clean pro baseball player, he would totally disgust me because he just became another pro who dragged my reputation under the bus.

No doubt in my mind he had something in his body that caused this result. In order to not believe that I'd have to believe someone intentionally tried to screw him. I don't buy it.

Baseball more than any other sport is a huge numbers (stats) game. The money has gotten so big that these guys will juice to get these huge contracts (Giambi). It's really simple. Just look at contract years, watch stats closely year over year and it's really easy to see who the cheaters are, i.e. McGwire, Bonds, Sosa, Braun, Giambi, Rodriguez, Boone, Palmero.............I could go on and on.................it's all about the "Kwan".
