They would have known if it was tampered with. That's not speculation. I'm not saying the chain or custody wasn't broken because it obviously was. Doesn't change the fact that he still tested positive. They messed up and he got lucky.

I guess the testing center is supposed to say, "we honestly have no idea whether or not we can tell which samples are legit"? Yea, right...of course they are going to say they can tell if it was tampered with.

The point is, we'll never know if he got lucky or not. The testing procedures are in place for a reason. The procedures were broken so the test should be considered null. He did however PASS the follow-up test when the chain of custody is not in doubt.

I don't believe he was on the 'roids...

While I'm not big into baseball, nor do I know the workout routine of baseball players. But I have been around many people using steroids and none of them could pass the visual test as Braun has. Even when prohormones were still huge, if you lifted on a regular basis, you couldn't hide it. I only say this because of his reported test levels. Maybe if they were at a lower ratio.

I wonder how Mr. Braun will be received in opposing ball parks this year.

So you know for 100% sure the sample that was tested was his? No chance the person who took it home didn't screw up and mark someone Else's sample as his? I mean the guy is obviously a pro, he did leave the sample on his desk at home for 2 days. Braun did offer to do a DNA test to prove if it was his or not and MLB said no thanks.

Do you know for sure the sample tested was not his? The sample collector did this as a side job. Read post #49. Braun got lucky like OJ got lucky. Perhaps Mark Fuhrman was the collector.
