Does Mike Hearld get any credit for Beechwood's success or does it all go to Romes?

Right back to stirring the pot aren't you.

Glad to see you're back :thumb:

Are you back for good or are you just making sporadic appearances?

What about next year?

You are only as good as your players, but Hearld is a good coach.

Mike's not going to be happy with you. You spelled his name wrong twice... :D

True to a degree, you can't win without some talent, but even if you have the most talent doesn't mean you'll be the best team.

I think Herald has done a great job, and I think myself and Cshs made a thread stating so before the season even started.

Spelling was never my strong suit. :D

He has certainly taken his fair shair of the blame in the past so he deserves his share of the credit when things are going well. Anyway when they lose Romes, Maricle, Sawyer and Moore he will probably go back to being a bad coach. Just the nature of the job.

Highlands won quite a few games in the 1990's without much guidance. :D

Plus made the Region last year and may not this year. So which year is the better coaching job?

If he makes region this year, he should have a statue built of himself on Beechwood. Him getting out of the district with HC, Holmes, and CCh would be a bigger feat than most the football accomplishments in my mind.

I would have to agree. Beechwood getting past the 2 (Holmes and CCH) :D big 35th powers will be difficult if not next to impossible for the Beechies.

It will be real difficult. I'm not sure any team in this district is looking forward to a first round game. Holmes included.
