I will say if he keeps playing like this he is going to make it VERY hard for voters to go with Robinson...

That's what Dicky V was saying a lot tonight. Said just sitting there watching Davis and knowing how much of an impact he has on the game even without scoring that it was swaying him in Davis's direction. It really is amazing how much one guy can impact a game just by being on the floor.

When Dicky V starts swaying in Davis' favor the rest of the media will join in as well and if Davis keeps playing like he has AND Kentucky keeps winning like they are then I think he will get it.

Anyone other than Davis getting the POY is a crock and a shame. What would his numbers be on Kansas?

When does voting for POY take place?

Vitale was saying how Davis basically gives UK a 15 point advantage before the game even starts. I never thought of it like that, but it really is true. With his defense and blocked shots, he really does give us an advantage before the game even starts. He is playing like a mad man, and rarely gets into foul trouble. If he keeps up this level of play, I think he gets all 4. Either way, he is definitely the best college player and NBA prospect to play the game right now in my opinion.

Has a freshman won the POY before?

Kevin Durant is the only one I think.

Considering Kansas SOS is in single digits and UK is around the 40-50 range, they're not going to get much better. I'd say his production would be the same.

IMO, he is by far the best player in the country, but he wont win it. The other 3 are an absolute LOCK.

I see it the other way. I think it's Robinsons as of right now with Davis gaining ground each game he plays. He's a difference maker and while it's most noticably for his defense he's certainly an asset on offense as well.
