Again I am not sold on Highlands being that much better than Dayton..................Now I know they should be and can be but that would not surprise me if Dayton hung tough with them. Highlands size will obviously be a problem for Dayton but if they can spread them out and Highlands is having one of their play no defense, miss a ton of free throws, sub constantly, and turn the ball over games..........it could be interesting...................Or Highlands may very well win both games on their side of the bracket by 30+ points............

The fact that you're not sold on it should cause a great deal of concern. :D

As usual, as long as Highlands and NCC draw opposite, no huge outcry about seeding.

They still need to seed.

Dayton and Highlands don't play in the regular season? That is just weird for two district teams not to face each other. So does Dayton have a chance against Highlands? Hard to tell since they haven't played each other. However, Bellevue has played Dayton twice, winning one and losing one. Bellevue has played Highlands. Final score Highlands 85 Bellevue 39. So do Dayton or Bellevue really have a chance versus Highlands?

NewCath didn't play Bellevue or Dayton.

Please put down the bottle and sober up before you make a post like this the next time. This is pure stupidity.

Why is everyone thinking that Highlands is the 2nd best team, the lost to Newport AT HOME. The real loser of this draw is Newport, they are the 2nd best team and will have to play the best team in the first round. I am with the people that are thinking that Dayton could give Highlands a decent game. I personally don't think that they will beat them, but anything can happen in a one game setting.

That game was an abberation. They havent Shot close to 50% the rest of the year and in That game they couldnt miss. Highlands even had a chance to win the game after trailing by 15 i think and couldnt get a contested layup to fall at the buzzer. It was a 2 point loss. If Highlands would have win That game by 2 would you have even postes what you said? But while we aré comparing scores, since they lost to Newport at home by 2 but Only lost to NCC on the road by 3 That must mean they aré Still better than Newport. LOL

They played a superb game and Still almost lost while Highlands played like crap That night. Not to mention im not even sure if a couple of those kids aré even Still on the team. I think it should be interesting though who shows up and is eligible for Districts.

Well then I guess Highlands had an abberation against NCC playing them close????? And evidently the Bluebirds have "played like crap" several nights this year. What is there record again?

And your multiple posting of shots (in a couple different threads) at Newport about players, where they are coming from, eligibility, etc. is kind of tiresome.

Facts aré facts Keep hatin on the Birds.

Facts aré facts Keep hatin on the Birds.

The only "hatin on the Birds" goes on during football season and that is out of jealousy more than anything else. I would venture to guess most people enjoy playing Highlands in basketball and are not too much afraid of a team that is 7-15 and the combined record of the 7 teams they have beaten are 58-100. Which of course include all those stellar victories against those Class A teams (Sayre, Bellevue, Bracken, Walton and lest we forget the 1 - 15 Seven Hills team).

Who is your team?

You wont see me trying to put a crown on this years team trust me but Lets not start equating their talent with Class A schools who have lost to teams the Birds beat by 40.

I acknowledged earlier in the thread that they should not take Dayton lightly. I dont know what else you want outside of me agreeing with your ridiculous statement. I have seen every Bird game this year and i think I may know a little bit more about what they can and cannot do. You Keep studying your stats and reading BGP for information.

Keep this on the thread and not each other....take it to PM's
