Good point Goldy.

Does anyone think Newport can Pull the upset against the Breds? Snapp is a Good coach who seems to motivate those kids Well.

I don't think it will happen, but I am a firm believer that anybody can beat anybody in a one game setting... Also, I was not "taking a shot" at Highlands by saying they lost to Newport, simply pointing out a fact. I was just trying to make the point that Newport actually got the bad draw, I'm not a Newport fan at all, just pointing out fact.

I'm guessing if each team played each other and it went chalk, a seed would have been as follows?

Newport vs Highlands

Bellevue vs. Dayton w/ NCC playing the winner.

Id be fine with that all day Long MC.

Yep. I'm not sure why anyone would have a problem with it?

Why isn't the district seeded? All of the other districts do.

:isurrender: I would have clicked on the horses being beaten but they are gone.

This district has always had the blind draw. Schools vote on whether or not they want to seed or draw blindly and every year there is a majority vote to the blind draw. Bellevue, Dayton and Newport vote draw and Highlands/NCC vote to seed. You cant blame the smaller schools for voting the way they do but Newport should vote to seed IMO.

As usual, as long as Highlands and NCC draw opposite, no huge outcry about seeding.

If districts need to seed then the state needs to go to classes for state tournament.
