February 3, 201214 yr I can't find the post but someone not too long ago talked about their friend who was talking to someone whose relative had just died and instead of saying "sorry for your loss" said something like "sorry about your luck." That one, for some reason, makes me laugh to the point of tears.
February 3, 201214 yr Author On Spring Break one year we went for a low key trip to Gatlinburg. A buddy of mine bought lunch at McD's and bought a few extra burgers so that he could have them later for dinner after he had been drinking a few. He didn't want anyone else to eat them so he decided to hide them...in the dryer. Well after the girls got out of the hot tub, they didn't want to hang their swimsuits over the railing in case the wind blew. You can imagine how that ended.
February 3, 201214 yr This just happened this week. While at work me and a co-worker decided to eat at a tiny Mexican restaurant in the back of a Mexican grocery store. It isn't very well known around town and only has about 4-6 tables. It has more traditional Mexican food instead of your typical commercial fare. There were a couple of guys from another department doing some remodeling in the office so we asked if they wanted to tag along. They hadn't heard of the place and we tried to explain where and what it was. One of them asked, "Are they real Mexicans?" I replied, "No, Darrell. They're wooden Mexicans." I think he meant to ask if it was authentic Mexican food...
February 3, 201214 yr Conversation between my friend and his girlfriend regarding the Super Bowl... J (her): Where's the Super Bowl this year? N: Indianapolis J: Yeah, I know that, but what city is it in? N: Indianapolis is a city sweetie... J: No, it's a state. N: No, pretty sure it's a city. J: Since when? N: Since it was founded. J: Oh, well what state is it in then? N: Think about it for minute... J: It's not Indiana is it? No, it can't be, that'd be too easy. Probably smokin hot, isn't she?
February 3, 201214 yr Also, about 3 weeks ago a co-worker and I were driving back from a business meeting in Atlanta. This was the weekend when the northern part of Kentucky was getting snow while everywhere south of Lexington was in the 50's with thunderstorms. I talked to my fiancee who lived in Lexington to see if she was coming to Somerset that night or the following morning. She said that she'd probably wait until the next morning because the northern part of the state was under a winter weather advisory and Lexington was right on the edge of the snow. I got off the phone and while talking to my co-worker I told him that parts of the state were under a winter weather advisory. His response: "A winter weather advisory? You mean like tornadoes and snow?" I replied, "Yes, with a horde of locusts and everything." Edited February 3, 201214 yr by AverageJoesGym Forgot my reply

February 3, 201214 yr I forwarded an email to my supervisor about an hour ago and he just brought a printed copy of it to me and said " I thought you might like to see this."

February 3, 201214 yr Well, in the case of one specific friend of mine, the two dumbest things I can think of him ever saying were, "Will you marry me?" and "I do".
