For every adult complaining about a kid running wild. What about when you take your kids to a sporting event where they serve beer. Nothing worse than having your kids around a bunch of drunk adults acting 10 times worse than kids cussing, spilling beer and every thing else they do.

I have been to plenty of sporting events where an adult does not look where they are walking and either bumped into my son or stepped on them and I have gladly shoved them for it adults should pay attention to children. I don't let my son run wild like some parents but in all a lot of people don't pay attention like they should to their child.

When my son was 2 or 3 years old we was at a SK/NCC football game at Newport. I was getting my son some popcorn at the concession stand my son was leaning up against the wall a man in the other line walked right on top of him and step on my son and had to nerve to tell me i stuck him right under his feet. I gladly shoved the man as he was standing over top my kid and wouldn't even step back so I could pick my son up. Adults are just as bad as children.

Sounds like grumpy old men to me. The kids do not bother me. It's the adults that are doing the same thing, and come and stand in the isles or at their seats to chat with their friends while the game is being played. The band parents, dance team parents, cheerleader parents. Many are not there to watch the game, they are there to support their children and grand children, as they should. Just because they are not there to watch the game does not mean that everyone else isn't interested. Kids are just being kids. Adults, they are just being rude and inconsiderate. If you stood up in front of them while the dance team or cheerleaders were on the floor they would be irate. Now with all that being said, it's part of what happens at ballgames. It has been the same way for as long as I can remember. It's something that happens on a regular basis. I don't expect it to ever change. I know it's going to happen. It's still worth the $5.00 for three hours of entertainment any given night. JMO

Agreed....and please keep them off the basketball sideline during a game. Officials are not trained to be watching for a 3 foot obstacle out of bounds when they are rotating up or down...some gyms are worse than others from a space perspective....it is really hard to get nacho cheese sauce off of black pants during halftime !:taz:

AT Male we always like to set next to a fence for your back support. But there is a walkway behind the fence and kids run up and down the area. Drives you crazy with the foot noise. Mama has a bad leg and cannot go real high in stands.

 

I might try to get her to go up a little, but she is hard headed. Maybe I should just stick to the kids on my comment.

Leave the kids alone, keep em off stairs try to teach em to be on the look out but come on now, let kids run and play, this is a huge problem these days, same people who talk about the good old days want kids to sit and watch a game for two hours and not move!!!! Come on man!!

Little boy walking on the sideline with his Skittles, trips and falls. Skittles skedaddling clear across the court! Never knew they could slide that fast! Had to stop the game for some Skittle retrieval.....

However, AFIGuy has a valid excuse with the triplets. That would be a fulltime job and there would be no watching basketball. :lol:

Those little guys have been the best little ones I may have ever seen at a ballgame. Now I do understand they are getting older, and will create more challenges. Kudos to their Mom and afi100guy. :notworthy: :clap:

The kids do not bother me but the adults who smell like they just smoked a pack kill me.
