OL - Caleb Wheat, Beechwood - Signing with Morehead

RB/DB - Cameron Vocke, Beechwood - Georgetown

K - Evan Talkers, Covington Catholic - Considering preferred walk on at UC

WR - Austin Sheehan, Highlands - Considering numerous D1 preferred walk on offers (UK, IU, tOSU, UL, et al.)

TE/S - Ryan Smith, Ryle - Holy Cross

LB - Quincy Page, Walton Verona - US Naval Academy

 

I am sure there are others throughout the state. I believe there are several BGP All Stars who we do not have any information about where they are going to college and whether they are playing football in college. If you know of BGP All Star updates or other players going D1, list them here.

Does Sheehan have any full ride offers from anywhere at all levels or is he only strictly considering his preferred walk on choices? I saw where there was some uncertainty about what EKU offered him. I also saw on the Rivals board that they have him at UK. Sorry if this question has been answered somewhere previously. He has a nice list of preferred walk on choices but haven't seen any concrete full ride choices from anywhere and was wondering.

Word is Paducah Tilghman's J.D. Harmon will be a grayshirt at Kentucky.

This isn't right. A Grayshirt is someone that is told they're wanted by a school but there's not enough room in THIS year's incoming class for them to start in the fall. So they WAIT and enroll the following January. Some pay their own way the first semester of that college freshman year and are technically 'walk-ons' in fall camp; others completely sit out that first fall semester or go to a community college to gain some hours.
